Disappointing fried hokkien mee - there was hardly any wok hey taste and the whole dish felt bare. Even though I ordered only a $4 portion, there was barely even any egg bits seen in the noodles. There were only 2 pieces of prawn and hardly any cuttlefish (Could only see 1 or 2 small tentacles). Overall, disappointing and would not buy from this stall again.

Hokkien mee is one of my favourite foods. And I have never tried Changi Village's until today. And I must say, it is the best plate I've ever had. Will visit again, to ensure consistency. Consistency is also important.

Hands down my favorite hokkien Mee around. The $5 plate is generous and full of flavor. It's wetter than most, but ive never walked away disappointed. In fact, after living abroad, this is the one thing I'd crave.

Best hokkien mee in the east side. Long waiting time on weekends, so usually buy on weekdays. Cook doesn't rush cooking, can see him waiting and stir frying for the noodles to get cooked and absorb the prawn stock. $4 for standard, $5 and $8 for it to be packed in old school 'opeh leaves'. Ask for extra chilli!

Good: the crispy pork lard is a must add-on! service is good even though many people, chilli is nice and the hokkien noodle is really one of the better one , above average quality On the other hand, the ingredients (prawns, pork, or squid) can be enhanced, otherwise it may seem a little overpriced.

Bought 2x $4 take-away hokkien noodles. Despite the presentation, it was nice and tasty. However... i was quite disappointed by the amount of ingredients. I had: 2 prawns 3 thin slices of pork belly 3 little portions of squid Sigh.... id have given more stars for 1 or 2 more prawns and more squid.. which i can usually find in other shops. Ah well. At least it was tasty.

Bought $8 portion for takeaway at a non-peak hour period. Disappointing quality and quantity. Other branches of this franchise did a slightly better job compared to this flagship stall. As evident in the photos, there was no wok hey and ingredients were at their minimum for an $8 order. Noodles tasted artificially sweet, without any unami flavour. Honestly, this is one of the worst fried hokkien mee I've ever had. My advice if you are reading this - don't waste your time and calories, eat something else instead.

Very well fried Hokkien Mee with strong flavour but there are two glaring shortcomings: 1. There was no pork lard. 2. Apart from the prawns, the sotong & meat slice were so miniscule that it almost camouflage as if the whole plate of noodle just came with two pieces of prawn. You could have swallowed it with the noodle and not know about it.
