★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While everyone is raving over the commando dessert, personally I only found it mediocre. I have to admit that the red tea jelly is pretty unique and quite nice, but paired with the canned Longan and ice with sauce is just like any other regular iced desserts. Nothing peculiar and it doesn’t bring out the tea jelly either.
However, I really liked the hot ginkgo nuts in longan soup. That to me was the star of the show! The ginkgo nuts are the big ones, and most importantly there were not bitter at all! Paired with the longan (syrup/very thick soup), it’s really nice. It may look very unappealing like how it did to me, but it’s nicer than the commando dessert in my opinion

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the famous red tea jelly with longan and almond $3. As you can see they seem pretty stingy with the ice. But overall, this stall seems to have a less sweet version vs the other stall on the muslim food side which is personally quite nice. If you like something sweeter with more ice then try the other stall.
