β β β β β Jul 2021. Placed my order without hesitation when there was no queue at 1.45pm today.
This stall gave me a reason to come back to this food centre again. We ordered a chilli prawn fried rice at $7 and normal abalone fried rice at $10.
The normal one was in fact at the same level as that in DTF. I loved the creative chilli version, lightly spicy, flavourful and not oily.

β β β β β Had seen long queues here & decided to try one evening. Thou only like 5 pax in the queue, it was still relatively long wait. The pork chop fried rice was sold out, hence i ordered the prawns version. Find that it is overrated for the fried rice & feels quite normal. If you don't mind the wait time, can still try.

β β β β β Ex shangrila, ex din tai Fung chef open his own fried rice stall at hawker centre. Prawn is very well cooked. Pork chop is well cooked, yummy. My suggestion: go for the Au natural option. Ie A choices. I love chilli and went for the sambal - but the sambal taste overpowered the whole dish.
Now I need to return to try the original flavoured dishβ¦

β β β β β Love the egg fried rice, they use pearl rice and itβs well-coated with eggs. Rice is soft and fragrant, not salty or oily, and there wasnβt any crumbly bits. Pork chop has a perfect blend of spices and black pepper. Itβs not overwhelming with peppery taste and I can feel the tenderness of the pork. And for only $6.50 (half the price of DTF), I think this is worth a try if you are nearby.

β β β β β Surprisingly no queue today at around 230pm. Could be due to phase 2 heighten alert measures. I enjoyed the fried rice with shrimp, it taste very similar to the one that Din Tai Fung serves, just a tad more salty from Chef Wang's stall. I feel that the pricing is still alright but the portion is smaller than I would have liked. Will be 5 stars if portion is more.

Their pork Chop more juicy than the original!
We went around 7.45pm on weekday and queue for only 10mins
