★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasty duck noodles. Reasonable price, not oily, and not very salty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was served by a nice, helpful young couple. Tarpaued the $3 duck noodles and topped up $1 braised pork. Upon opening later on, the noodles were coated in a dark sauce like KL noodles, nice:-) Nice duck meat and braised pork, generous portions.
The chilli dip tastes a little sweet and lacks a spicy kick. The herbal soup is rich tasting but a little too salty for my liking.

Packed braised duck kway teow dry. Soup separate. Good to eat. Next visit will eat their kway chap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprised to find a young couple running a kway chap stall. And I think they have done well and will get even better over time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its inedible. The braised intestine rigs of very strong porky smell and tasted horrible that i have to spit out. My guess is that its not washed throughly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap for the portion that you are getting but disappointed by the taste. The gravy has a slightly sweet taste which i guess came from the dark soya sauce, did not taste anything else. The large intestines were very pungent and I consider myself a lover of duck, lamb and innards (food with strong smells).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First, the innards have extremely strong porky scent that was unpleasant. You can smell it off the plate without even putting into your mouth. Second, braised sauce is a tad sweet and not fragrant. The pork belly and other items are not even well-infused in the braise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite kway chap place. I’m not usually a fan of kway chap cos they are mostly bland and i perceive it to be old people’s food!
But this stall which is run by a young couple changed my perceptions with its rich tasting braise and herbal kway chap soup base which hits the spot for me. For $3.50 you get a good portion of braised pork belly, pig skin, tau kwa, big intestines, half an egg, tau pok. (The serving in this picture includes $1 addition of big intestine and pork belly each cos they are tasty!). Try both the tangy chilli dip and the sambal chilli. I personally found the tangy chilli dip go very well to balance the fat in the meats.
I hope they’ll do well in the hawker line!
