Knew what i wanted to get after research. Came to this shop to enquire about pricing. Item is way more expensive for the exact same thing you can get elsewhere. After they realise i know about the pricing from elsewhere, they became very hostile and rude. NEW BUYER need to be aware

As the other people mentioned, at first sight, it seems good shop. However, after carefully considering experience such as price, or light bulb life (one of my bulb was broken in only 2 weeks), I concluded that it is better to go somewhere else.

The shop has very helpful and experienced senior salespeople who were able to give appropriate recommendations. Also the pricing is transparent especially on the charges for installation. The shop occupies two units so there is a large selection on display. I got my lights in my condo several years ago, and now with a resale flat under renovation, I am glad I have gone back to the shop again (after experiencing no service at a lighting shop at Beauty World and another place which had the boss' maid manning the office).

The initial sales experience was great, the staffs (all uncles and aunties) are friendly and helpful. And they actually sold us lights that were not longer manufactured so we had to return to choose again, which I'm okay with, cos they admitted their mistake. However, what could have been a 5 stars review, I have dropped it to 3 stars from a 1-star experience. Initial sales is good, but beware if you need to go back for warranty, and if you have to ask question. At the back of the light, they wrote "01-2018" and something that looks like "2019", so of course we assumed it meant one year warranty right? Then they said no, it's not "2019", it's "z01a". Then another auntie started shouting at us and going on and on about how everybody come into the shop and say they bought not long ago and sounds like she's accusing us of trying to cheat them. And she probably thought that our generation can't understand dialect, so she spoke to another staff to get someone to check on our light properly, as if we will really cheat them. Eventually they still charged us. All this bad experience over ONE question. My whole extended family and some of my friends have been buying from this shop, but I have already warned them, and personally, I will NEVER return here again. And gathering feedback from my friends, apparently my experience is not a unique case.

Good place to get your house lighted up. Affordable too.

Semi baised review - it is operated by my mum's old time classmate. So our relationship has always been good. If i were to go alone , i will say prices are always better online provided you know what you are looking for and understand the many different models of lights and fan available and also importantly, how you imagined it to look like etc. Advantages of being in-store is you can have questions answered and have a clearer picture of the brightness and operation of the products. Generally staff are helpful and as always this is an old time brand so it has its base of regular customers. I will not admit or deny some other mixed reviews here but as customers in this era, we ought to do our homework and really try not to ask silly questions. This is a store whivh is run by a senior generation so do not expect what you are getting with strawberry / millenial generation. Prices are obviously on the high side due to overheads but we have to admit to ourselves, sich physcial stores saves us in dire times. No need to wait for delivery.
