Quality over quantity. The place have a good ambiance with a simple selection. Price is above average but the cuts of sashimi pieces makes you feel satisfied with each bite. It's definitely a place for a nice meal with your loved ones.

I used to have good memory of this place but this time the quality dropped so badly. The grilled cod fish doesn't seem grilled though the waitress insisted it is, looked pale and tasteless. The sushi rice is not properly cooked and the tempura maki poorly made, as the rice is not fresh. Whole experience was bad, waited pretty long, chef forgot my chirashi Don order. Won't come again.

I was there for dinner and I ordered a chirashi and a gindara teriyaki. The gindara was superbly done - the skin was crisp, the flesh was firm and fresh, and the sauce was flavourful. The chirashi however, was a disappointment. The salmon sashimi had bones in it and the tuna sashimi was a little mushy. To cap things off, upon feedback to the staff, all I got was a perfunctory thank you(?) as they seemed more interested in handling some operation matters rather than paying proper attention to the matter at hand. All in all, a not so good experience.

Yummy food but portion a bit small, especially the unagi set. Pricey.

I should have known that the quality of food is no longer the same. There was no one at the restaurant at 9pm The waitress said all the customer had left ? But as shown in the photos, the bar was stacked with plates and the printer is on the dining table It looks more like the restaurant is closed This used to be one of my fav casual restaurants 10 years ago. Haven’t been back for a while and was shock by the experience Despite being the only customer, the food took 30 mins to be served. The waitress said they have many take away orders but I don’t see any drivers or customers coming in/out of the restaurant. I was setting outdoors at the entrance. Order the premium sushi set 1/ sushi rice was mushy 2/ unigi chews like rubber 3/ they change out the uni for ootoro without informing me in advance - according to the same waitress , I should have known they don’t have uni on Tuesday ? Ps: it was not stated in the menu The grilled cod fish with teriyaki sauce tasted like bottled teriyaki sauce from the super market poured over a tasteless pan fried cod I should have read the Google reviews before coming back. Some reviews also mentioned the same waitress who was in denial, insisting that everything is fine

Had the chirashi which I last ate here in 2016. Impressively, the thick slices and presentation remain the same. The sleek interior, food presentation, and price suggest a classy restaurant, but the lack-lustre quality of the short-grain rice, paper napkins that one might encounter at a bbq, and rather casual service makes for a confusing experience overall.

Food was good. Sashimi was thick and fresh, tempura was crispy and light. Aburi white tuna with truffle (not pictured) was good too. Had to 30 mins for the tempura but will be back for the good food and quiet ambience on a Saturday night.

Thought this place was good given its reputation 2-3 years ago. The food was rather mediocre, and overpriced. But their oysters were pretty good.
