E	Evonne Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty well priced lunch sets! Had the negitoro ikura don which came with a dollop of uni and caviar on top ? Chef very kindly acceded to my weird request of no negi (I know I know) and was surprised to find yuzu embedded in the toro as well! That made the dish pretty well balanced and enjoyable. You can tell that thought has been put into the decor, and the staff were attentive. It’s a great place to catch up with friends over lunch - seats were well spaced (probably due to distancing regulations) and it isn’t echo-y so other patrons don’t hear everything you say.

Loved the amaebi with the burst of sweetness. Had a good chat with Chef Ron at the counter. We had the mini kaiseki that is only available during lunchtime. Will go back again to try the omakase.

Other than that, the whole experience was rather disappointing. Waited for roughly 15min to 25min in between each course, was told the course would include sushi but ended with garlic rice and some raw sashimi (aloha poke in 2 mouths). For the price paid for this special menu, better off eating elsewhere.
