Very delicate buns packed with fresh tasty ingredients. small size (one mouthful) so good for breakfast, snack or high tea. Recommend the black sesame bun, char siew bun and pork bun. Very good service too!

Super clean looking cute space! Their baos are very decently priced! And is soft/ I love the bun texture! The Kaya bread is something different from typical Kaya toast- it’s steamed! And while I prefer my bread to be toasted, this is a good alternative as the bread ended up being really, really soft

Lucky enough to have a 'behind the scenes' tour and lesson on Bao and Siomai making. 2nd gen owners using techniques and recipe inspired by grandfather 1st gen Tanjong Rhu Bao.

Always loved the basement of Takashimaya departmental store. Wide variety of food and pastries to satisfy everyone. Chance upon this new stall that sells dim sum. Bought the mini char siew bun and the mini pork bun. Both are very tasty, the skin of the bun is thin. Full of pork fillings inside the buns which are moist and tender. They do have other variety on their menu. Siew mai, glutinous rice, vegetable pork bun etc. Price is reasonable too. Both the service staff are very friendly. Will visit again very soon. Good stuff!

You really cannot miss this place. Along the walkway, there's this huge signboard to indicate that the food here are handmade. Wandering inside, a good place for morning breakfast. Sets are comparable to your Yakun or Killeney, where they add a coffee and two soft boiled eggs. I found the Char Siew Pau to be a tad small for my liking, but what was truly interesting was the Yuan Yang Pau which had a mix of 3 typical types.

Nice place to chill out. Char siew buns here are good snacks as they were small yet filling. Coffee’s your typical local vibe.

First time trying their handmade buns and it was good. Their buns are fluffy while not too dense/airy, I like that there are plenty of buns instead of too much filling. The fillings are decent tasting, not too sweet or salty in any way which is great. Their place also serve some other traditional local breakfast items like soft boiled eggs, chwee kueh and chee cheong fun. Their coffee are not particularly good, just good to go with the buns to complete the meal. I would come back specially for their buns, probably take away since it can be kept for a few days and steamed for consumption. Highly recommend you to try this too!
