excellent for buying reasonably priced souvenirs from singapore, their staff is exceptionally friendly and well-versed in local history and culture. highly recommend as a starting point into the chinese quarters here.

There's a lot of cultural activities going around in the vincity of the visitor centre. Easily accessible.

A great place to stop by to see the souvenirs and enjoy the AC. It is so hot and humid in the whole Chinatown surrounding. There is a stage in front of the visitor center, it always has shows for the seniors.

BEWARE: THE DRINK VENDING MACHINE WILL EAT YOUR CHANGE. Otherwise, the services inside are very good but will not provide any refunds as they do not own the machine despite providing power to it. If the machine eats your change you will need to call the number for support. Good luck on that! If you are thirsty it's cheaper to go to a nearby store to buy a drink.

Must visit Buddha temple here. Peaceful. I bought lot of souvenier from the local shops here. Great for street shopping
