She tirelessly chooses the jewellery for you according to your budget. At the same time advices on the quality of the piece (hollow, semi hollow, solid).
She has also reiterated the gold standard of chip lee. Chip lee jewellery all are singapore assayed which means they go through testing to gurantee its 916 standard. Their gold does not turn to copper colour or black overtime. It retains the shine. Explaining why their jewellery is more expensive than other shops. Chip lee jewellery is about $10 more expensive per gram compared to other shops
Most of chip lee jewellery staff are aunties. To my experience all of them are typical heartland shop vendors but with professionalism and service standard.
I have been shopping here for 20 years :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my friends were looking around at Chip Lee this afternoon, interested in getting some jewelry. But as we spoke to one of the sales assistant (old lady with specs) for help, she looked at us from head to toe, giving us judgmental looks as if we can’t afford the things we were asking for. Doesn’t mean people in their 20s don’t “look rich” means cannot afford to buy gold. Everyone is a potential customer, nobody deserves to be treated that way. It was rude of her to judge her customers especially those who were genuinely interested.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chip Lee Jurong Point outlet, please review this mature petite build lady short hair wearing specs, have not served us, but instead was staring at us the whole time even though her younger colleague already attended to us. She totally disrupted the young lady who was serving us and totally turn us off by saying that we could pay by installments of 3 or 6 months. Total turn off to our moods as it is something we do not want to hear as customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am a customer of chip lee, bought gold chain and gold rings from them before. Yet when returned 2 years later they had all forgotten and gave those you cant afford and judgmental looks when i went in with shorts and slippers... am working full time, and honestly my salary in one of big tech firms isn't small either... decided on the spot to switch to lee hwa nearby to get some gold. If the management doesn't brush up these old timers’ attitudes, they are going to lose more customers definitely.
