★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service experience at United Square Novena. The lady staff is super rude and has attitude problem. Will never support this brand again when they didn’t even bother to look at the problem with their staff service standard. there are many complains against the bad service at this particular outlet at Novena. Apparently nothing was done..

Attending staff named Maya (the name appeared on receipt) doesn’t seem keen to serve and made us feel like we were imposing on her when we were placing order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad service by the lady staff here. She could not find my order (which was confirmed and fully paid online already) and kept questioning in condescending tone. When I showed her the screenshot of my order, she scrolled through my personal photos instead. This is just unacceptable. What should be a simple collection turned out to be a long wait of almost 30mins. Staff showed me her black face throughout, kept sighing loudly and made snide remarks. Worst customer experience ever. Will not come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rich yet not too sweet soft serve on a cone. Exceptionally love the feuilettine coated cone which I haven’t tried elsewhere . We didn’t have time but otherwise it would have been a great pairing with a Kopi o kosong

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and also cafe style tables for you to sit and enjoy the coffee or chocolate gelato. To me, it’s still one of the best gelato in town with a rich chocolatey taste. Single scoop at 4.50 which to me is worth the indulgence. Will try the other menu items soon too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While we were there, the tables were not arranged 1metre apart, so 4 of us took initiative and sat at a 2 seater table to comply with 1metre social distancing regulations. We were then told by service staff to sit at the 4 seater, which is less than a metre from nearby patron. When I pointed out the patron at next table is less than a metre away, the service staff tried to shrug it off. We found this quite ridiculous.
Chocolate origin's chocolate tart (sgd5.8) was so small and hard, unsatisfying, was served in a plastic takeaway container. Very dismayed at the standard. For almost same price, lola's chocolate sea salt tart (sgd6) is wayyyy tastier and more worth it.
I liked chocolate origin cakes but now won't be patronizing it much, given lousy standard of its other products and subpar service standards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the Chocolate lava cup and it was so delicious! not too sweet yet still yummy. the lava part is warm, yet the ice cream at the bottom still stays cold and solid. love it! portion is just right for me! ? a really great dessert. Note that drinks with latte art are unavailable- as said by the staff. super yummmmy :)
i do think the staff service can be improved, hence 4 stars.
