4.5 stars Chooby pizza - Definitely one of the much better pizza joints around town with a reasonable price tag to it. Although it is minimal frills, Chooby (can I call you that?) has managed to create a great and comfy environment for diners. Naples-styled pizza where the dough is soft, thin and filled with air pockets. Toppings wise, you have the options of being adventurous (spiced coconut chicken which was yums!) or traditional (Margherita w pepps also yums). My (only) two asks: Chooby does take-away and Chooby opens for more days (currently Wed-Fri evening).

Great Neapolitan-style pizzas at decent prices (for Singapore). That said, I found the dough much too sour, leaving a long sour aftertaste that lingers in the mouth...unsure if this is because they have a sourdough starter? In any case, you might like this - or probably won't notice it if you have enough booze to go with (they have a pretty decent beer selection), but I found it noticeable after the 3rd slice and not the most pleasant taste if you're only having water and not a strong drink to wash things down. Also noticed a lot of other patrons leaving the crusts on the table - maybe they just didn't want the carbs though - a pity for such well-textured and well-baked pizza. Additionally, due to limited space and wanting to manage inventory efficiently, the process of actually being able to get a spot is pretty darn troublesome: 1) reservations via their website, for the week ahead, open at 12pm every Monday; 2) they are only open for a few days a week, for limited hours; 3) you need to pay a non refundable deposit of $30, which is equivalent to 1.5 pizzas. Overall, pretty good Neapolitan-style pizzas with a slightly modern American twist on the toppings - although I personally did not enjoy the lingering sourness of the dough, I'm pretty sure others would. Also, not a fan of the booking ahead process, as pizzas to me are comfort food and something you should just be able to turn up and get, when it feels like you need it.

Service : self service Food : unagi pizza (seasonal) 5 stars recommended Pepperoni pizza 3 stars Unagi pizza : they did not skimp on the unagi slices, little did you know mozzarella goes well with unagi too. Nothing to complain, my friend who doesn’t eat unagi enjoyed this. Pepperoni : the most simple pizza is the hardest to nail. Not skimping on the pepperoni and thickness. I love the pepperoni cups, soggy Center. But what I think can be better is the crust. A thinner crust to provide more space for cheese and pepperoni. Personally I felt the cheese was not consistently spread. Will definitely revisit again!

Best sourdough pizza in the city! Definitely try the Truffle pizza and crispy whitebaits! Place is great, and equally the service is amazing! They also have craft beers and great selection of wines to pair with your meal. Definitely coming back!

Reservations for Chooby open Monday of every week for Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, so can be difficult to secure a reservation. Starters:- Whitebait & Calamari were both delicious, perfectly cooked and crispy, with good seasoning, paired well with the creamy dip. Pizzas:- We tried four varieties; the Pepperoni, Thai style, Truffle Mushroom with onions and also the Kimchi, Pulled Pork and Pineapple Pizzas. All were chewy, cooked well with that perfect charred, blistered crust from the wood-fired oven. The classic Pepperoni and Truffle Mushroom with creamy bechamel sauce and onions were my top picks. Great beers, friendly service and good fun. I would definitely come back to try more of the menu. Thanks to the Team at Chooby's for a fun, interesting night!

Great pizzas! Margherita and pepperoni pizzas were very tasty. Great charred spots, soggy centre, cheese and sauce were delicious; quite authentic Neapolitan styled pizzas. Pepperonis curled up into tiny grease bowls which is always a good sign. Basil on the Margherita was slightly too bruised for my preference maybe because they were not added after the pizza came out of the oven. Both pizzas could make do with more olive oil on the top to finish too. Overall great experience, whitebait side was extremely tasty too. Casual vibes, friendly staff. (Reminded me of Di Fara in New York which sadly Dom passed away earlier in the day. RIP Dom)

Head down to chooby's if you're craving for awesome pizza. The wait service was excellent, super attentive and knowledgeable. It's self service for most part, but the team was super friendly and welcoming. We ordered a bottle of wine which was out of stock and instead of ending it there, they recommended another bottle that had similar notes and profile. Food was great as well, the whitebait with tzatziki dip great, didn't have that jalat taste from eating fried food. The pizza dough was excellent, we had the OG, margarita as well as spicy Thai coconut chicken. Not a fan of fusion food, but this hits the spot. Do note that they do not accept walk ins, so please do yourself a favor and make a reservation before going.

Really enjoyed both the vibe and food here. I think they sold out of the most popular one (pepperoni) but their other pizzas are real tasty. Bought a bunch of merchandise as well because I thought the artwork is pre cool. We pre-booked this place as well - 12pm on Mondays - worth it! Would love to come back here again.
