β β β β β I do not have an Italian grandma, but I imagine if I do, the food served here will be very similar to that served by an Italian grandma.
It is a humble no-frills space ran by an old Italian lady with another middle-aged man. They were very warm, welcoming, and unpretentious.
The food is great too, the cheese and truffle in the pasta were fresh and nice. Give this neighbourhood Italian hideout a try!

β β β β β Forget the VTL. Come straight here for authentic Italian food. The chef/owners are an Italian couple residing in Singapore. 10 stars.

β β β β β It's a really fantastic hidden gem! Thus far I haven't had anything that's tasted less than fantastic. The pasta and pinsa are delicious. The Florence coffee is a sensation! The pistachio gelato makes for a perfect end to all meals! Please come and try the great Italian cuisine served by bona fide italians! Buono! Squisito!

β β β β β No frills, homely italian cuisine. I especially loved the pizza! The couple who was running the restaurant was really friendly as well.

β β β β β Have been wanting to try this place near our hood. Ambience wise, itβs a no frills bistro concept run by a very friendly Italian couple. Food wise, the dishes generally tasted decent but were rather overpriced given the location and ambience. The piping hot arancini was not bad, while the asparagus soup was rather bland and watery.
The mortadella ham, pistachio and cheese pinsa romana was definitely very fresh with the ingredients coming together harmoniously. The crust was also deliciously light and airy. However, we did feel the overall taste was still rather plain and did not justify the 35 dollar price tag.
In summary, do pop by if you are in the hood to enjoy homely food and friendly service, but donβt expect a very bang for your buck dining experience. Will be back soon to try the pasta dishes!

β β β β β Ordered long black, crab and lobster ravioli, tiramisu and pistachio gelato
Long black was pretty generic,
Crab and lobster ravioli is fresh, can taste chunks of seafood married with herbs swimming in mouth at each bite with hint of cheese
Tiramisu is nice! Moist layers but no alcohol though.

β β β β β Its a small place but feels very homely. It wasn't too hot or too cold which is nice. The pizza is amazing- dough had a nice crunch and was just really good bread, the flavours were really good. I tried 3 pizzas and theyre all really really amazing. The spaghetti I didn't try but was not as good as the pasta and my family felt that the presentation was a bit messy.
Overall a place to try for sure :) Def go for pizza. They also have an ice cream selection !!
