The queue is super long, however was determined to try due to its good review. Wait time was around 30mins but all was worth it!! The homemade chilli is superb good ! Unfortunately they don't sell it alone ! Prawn is super fresh , they are so good that they peel every shell off for the convenience of their customers!!! Try it soon before it gets longer!!!

Very popular stall amongst the residents. We liked the higher proportion of bee hoon vs yellow noodles and the flavourful gravy. The $8 portion was ok - 4 medium to large prawns and quite a lot of pork belly slivers. The pork lard although generous, had lost its crispness - a slight letdown.

The fried hokkien mee is moist but not swimming in a pool of liquid, noodles has absorbed the stock well. Be careful of their fiery chilli, just a tiny weeny bit can send you into an inferno .

New kid on the block , delicious Hokkien mee that rivals many established hawkers. Comes in 2 sizes regular or large. Crispy pork lard, explosive chilli sauce, flavourful noodles fried to different layers of mouth feel, soft yellow noodles and Al Dente bee hoon. No wonder it’s quite highly recommended by foodie groups in Singapore.

Got to know of this place through social media. Turns out that this coffeeshop is actually near to my school last time. Happened to pass by the area last weekend and decided to go try their fried hokkien prawn noodle. This prawn noodle stall is in the coffeeshop at blk 151 Bedok res, very accessible as there is bus a few mins walk away and the downtown line is just 5 mins walk away. The fried hokkien mee comes in 2 sizes, either SGD$5 or 8. When there around late afternoon, there wasn’t any queue. Managed to order upon reaching, food didn’t took long to be prepared as well. The hokkien mee comes with the standard ingredient of prawns, squid and pork belly strips. The noodle was flavorful, the noodle and been fully soaked up the stock that they used. The only thing i didnt like was that the texture of the noodle was quite soft, which means the noodle have been braising in the wok for quite sometime. Overall, a pretty good hokkien mee if you don't mind the soft texture. Portion is actually quite generous and their sambal belachan is very nice and spicy.

New Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee stall found. The noodles were moist enough with a touch of wok hei flavour. Packed with fat prawns and slices of sotong. Do remember to squeeze the lime and add some chilli to make the plate even more better.

Saw a review on “Can Eat Hawker “ posting in FB and decided to give it a try. Packed 2 packets of $5 each HKM home; did asked for Wet version, however by the time I got home it became soggy! The pack for $5 is quite a lot with 3 prawns added, however it lacked the “Wok Hei” aftertaste and not punchy! Nevertheless for those around the area, it is still a good place to eat this HKM!
