F	F Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife brought my daughter for a trial lesson with City Ballet Academy at White Sands recently. After the lesson the staff explicitly told us that we could talk to the teacher to find out how our daughter was during the lesson. As such, we acted on the staff's suggestion and approached the teacher, who merely gave a curt reply that she was "okay" and walked away. Because we wanted to find out more about how the lessons are structured, we asked the staff if we could continue to speak to the teacher. When the staff asked the teacher, she refused to talk to us even though the staff said that we could talk to her. The teacher said she needed to have her break. I don't know if this teacher represents what City Ballet Academy is like but it is definitely not a welcoming place for new students.

They have now put their focus in dance and have benefitted from CBA's thoughtful programme and opportunities (competitive as well as performances). Led by a wonderful principal, it is a very nurturing environment that puts students well-being in first place. Really glad to know they now also have jazz in addition to ballet and contemporary dance! Excellent facilities and well located! Lovely bunch of fun/loving/supportive students also - very positive influence.

She learns the proper forms and techniques of ballet from highly qualified teachers of international reputable dance intensive programmes and professional teaching experience. Ms Xia and her team of teachers emphasize strongly proper technique, etiquette and strength development. They are dedicated and highly professional on the art of dance. Strict discipline is expected and the school expects students to put in their best during class lessons. I am happy the school nurtures my daughter and each student to their full potential.

Both my daughters have benefited from the training tremendously gaining distinctions in RAD exams. The School teaches beyond RAD with classes to do barre work and basic steps and opportunities to take part in competitions. Admin staff is also very friendly and welcoming who had patiently answer all our questions prior to signing up for the ballet class.

CBA is full of experienced and professional teachers who are able to teach students satisfactorily. They offer a high standard of private coaching, and students are given opportunities to take part in masterclasses conducted by internationally active principal dancers. The admin system is also very well established, and it is highly recommended for all students, especially for those who would like to pursue dancing.

Everything in harmony is harmonious - a team of teachers, their qualifications, a training system and career growth! We also have a very friendly team of parents who are always ready to help if you need it! Our teachers are the best teachers, they not only understand their students - they also feel them, and therefore have very close contact with each of them. If you still do not know which dance school to choose for your child, I tell you to come to the CBA!
