★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw this back in March before the lockdown while visiting the Civil Defence Gallery. This monument stands in tribute to the Civil Defence Force of Singapore, which includes fire fighters, ambulances, search and rescue, to name but three. The monument is a bronze sculpture depicting a firefighter and a rescuer in the midst of performing their duty. Not the greatest thing to see in Singapore, but it’s a worth a quick detour if near theCentral Fire Station.
