Cloud Nine Private Dining - 114 Lavender St.

Ordered delivery of my usual order of small size black vinegar pork trotters. It is one of our favourite dishes as it is rich, gingery and the sourness is just right. Just nice for 2 for us with lots of gravy and large chunky meat.

This place is a hidden gem and pre booking is needed for their private dining. They also have their take away menu and i must say, their foie gras claypot rice is a must must must order dish. The rice is cooked to right doness and the chicken is so tender and succulent. They gave a generous amount of chinese sausages too. The Chef uses a very special dark soy which enhance the whole claypot rice to a new level. The Foie Gras with the rice is really another level of enjoying it. Overall, this Atas claypot Rice i will sure go back again for it.

Have always enjoyed Chef David's brilliant culinary skills in the dishes we order from his delivery menu. Naturally, once we heard he was going to open his restaurant, we were very excited to meet chef in person and experience his food and restaurant. The photo attached is the pulled pork tacos that simply melts in your mouth - literally. Strongly encourage everyone to drop by the restaurant and check out his social media pages for the delivery menu. You won't be disappointed!

Visited Cloud Nine (both literally and metaphorically- maybe still there. Really, my mind's still with the Pumpkin soup... out-of-this-world one) for a cozy birthday celebration and was extremely WOW-ed by the gastronomic experience. The menu was thoughtfully created, bold play of flavours, temperature, colours, that come together beautifully to create magic. On top of Chef's cooking talents, he was also very kind, friendly and game enough for the challenge when he accepted our request for a Vegetarian meal- it's his first try with Vegetarian but none of us could tell it's a first at all! Really thankful for his efforts and thoughts put into this whole dinner. Have I not mentioned the space? It's perfect for a small-group meal. I went for dinner on Nov 22 and back again for lunch on Nov 26. It was a wonderful experience for me, my friends and my family. Chef David and Peiyi were very friendly and always making sure we were comfortable at all times while we dine. The food prepared by Chef David was superb! He came out with dishes to accommodate my family special requirements and constantly checking with us if food was ok. Everyone who attended the event was very pleased with the whole experience and we will definitely be back for more ?

Gastronomic delights made with an abundance of love and creativity. Pei Yi and David are very warm, amiable and accommodating, making you feel very welcomed in their cozy hole in the wall diner. Worth every penny. Would definitely return!

We celebrated my hubby's birthday at Cloud Nine and had the whole place to ourselves since it was a weekday lunch ? When I read the menu initially, I thought the food items sounded rather ordinary. But wow! The presentation and culinary treatment were a pleasant surprise. Needless to say, the meal was absolutely delish too! The first 4 courses came out deceptively like dessert and a caffine to end the meal ?... so dainty and definitely yummy. But the macha-latte-looking dish was in fact asparagus soup! Apparently alot of work (and asparagus) went into making that small little cup of happiness. Someone who hate veg would still fall in love with that. This is a Chef who puts alot of heart in the meals he prepares and it shows in the dishes. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try the new menus ??
