I had a fantastic buying experience from Eason Music. I first approached Eason Music, searching for an Erhu with a different tone and sound to my existing Erhu. I was then referred to Sung Wah. I explained to him what type of sound I was after and that I was already looking at 2 erhus that may be what I was looking for. Sung Wah is exceptionally knowledgeable about his stock. He also recommended other erhus besides the ones I looked at that he reckon would better meet my requirements. We spoke for many months. He helped me immensely by providing me unbiased, honest opinions about the selection of erhus I was trying to choose from and loads of demos recorded on different devices. He even learnt a new song that I requested to hear as a demo. His team even recorded the Erhu accompanied by a piano! Till the very end, Sung Wah and his team provided exceptional guidance and support. They helped me pick a fantastic instrument that is definitely a great addition to my existing Erhu and met all the requirements I was looking for, plus more. It was an Erhu that he recommended that wasn't the Erhu I was initially looking at. And even after purchase, the continuous support from Eason Music is much appreciated. I am so pleased and have no reservations about recommending Eason Music.

Product: Professional Aged Rosewood Erhu by Yu Kai Ming Excellent products and customer service! The erhu I bought was set up tuned, the bow was rosined, and it was ready to play out of the box! The sound and quality of the instrument was superb and it holds tuning very well! I was also extremely impressed by the quality of the case. The standard CITES process took a couple weeks, but this is apparently due to COVID issues. It's also to be expected, and probably more of a reflection of my country's processing speed than Eason Music's. It was well worth the wait!

Excellent store for Chinese music instruments. Also from far away a perfect shopping experience. Very experienced, competent, skillful and patient people. Sung Wah answered all my questions and recorded several videos for me so that I was finally able to buy an erhu and accessories. Payment and shipping was very smooth. Superb support also after sales. Very good service! People were patient and helpful, definitely recommed this shop! Thanks Mr. Chan for the demonstrations of the erhu. The shop might be difficult to find. It is in Lobby 2 and not in Lobby 1. You need to find Lobby 2 which is located at CTHUB 2 (Kallang Avenue side). Once you face the foodcenter on the open square, the door of Lobby 2 is on your left side. Use that door, the elevators are at the back of the corridor, go to L2.

What a great company to work with. I chose Eason as opposed to other retailers because I feel lien I "know" them from their personality and personal approach to the process. I chose to purchase an Erhu from them because I believe in their quality and I wasn't disappointed. The Erhu I received is beautiful, well crafted and such a wonderful piece. I have been so excited to start learning the Erhu. I give 4 instead of 5 stars because I had ordered some additional accessories which I did not receive including a Mute and an extra set of strings. Mistakes happen and I am not bothered by it. I ended up purchasing a Mute elsewhere and have received it already so I am off to a good start in my Erhu journey! Thank you Eason for this beautiful Erhu, I am excited to learn and grow in my exploration of Eastern music.

Definitely the best place online to buy Erhus and other kinds of traditional Chinese instruments! It was an amazing shopping experience, buying from Eason Music. Very kind, patient people, with tremendous amount of expertise and an excellent customer service. Replies always were in a timely and pleasant manner, with well-defined and professional answers to all questions. I obtained proper instructions on how to handle my part of the bureaucratic process, while they managed everything else. They were monitoring the delivery constantly and reminded me, of the final steps required to receive my package, when noticing, that I still didn't pay for the taxes and duties (I had an issue with my ID). All the products are of high quality, fit exactly to their description, were packed securely and arrived fast, without being damaged.
