Good customer service and tasty goodies. Love pineapple tart and crispy crab stick ?

Didn't expect the pineapple tarts were so good. Melt in the mouth pastry, light and not to thick. The pineapple jam was sweet sour and compliment well with the pastry. First time buying from Wang Lai Bakery and it didn't disappoint. Delivery uncle was very courteous and all the goodies were received without a piece crushed. Thank you for delivering on time.

Bought 8 tin of pineapple tart. 1. Requested delivery on Monday 6pm to 8 pm. But the Delivery guy came at 11am. Lucky my kids are in HBL. 2. Found plastic string on the in the pineapple jam. See pictures attached.

Really melt in mouth type little pineapple tarts. One pop and you know this is premium, but it’s a tad sweet for us. Reduce the sugar a little and it would have been perfect. Very nice tasty prawn rolls with a light crunch. The other flavors are just flankers but nice to have. In general, the pineapple variety of tarts were too sweet. The quality of the pastry is one of the best. Small but very shiok.

Heard a lot of good reviews about the star product - melt in the mouth pineapple balls, hence i ordered some together with other of their products. But after trying the pineapple balls, I'm disappointed, not impressed. Its a little dry, the pastry has no fragrance. Though it melts in the mouth but it taste like just flour wrapping a ball of pineapple that disintegrate in the mouth. Even a normal confections shop sells better ones than these. I ordered a number of mixed items ($200+), delivery package is the worst I have ever gotten. In white plastic bags, no gift paper bags given when i mentioned in my email and message that i need gift bags to give away some of these goodies as gift. The reply is they ran out of bags when i have placed order earlier and given ample notice. Shouldn't there be some inventory check-in? No alternative gift bags given instead of leaving the customers hanging like this. I just hope the rest of the items are not as disappointing.

Recommend their best selling Pineapple Tarts (only Pineapple Tarts and the others - forgettable, see below reviews) : ? Melt in Your Mouth Pineapple Tarts @ $18.90 ? Melt in Your Mouth Open Face Pineapple Tarts @ $16.90 ? Melt in Your Mouth Kuih Bangkit @ $15.90 note: update and tasted on 29.1.2022. See attached photos - kuih bangkit all smashed up, and most ended up in crumbs.. disappointed ? ?? Premium Love Letter @ $14.90 note: tasted and we don't like this wafer-thin and "soft" love letter, and the ill-fitting container lid which does not close tightly, that's why I deduct 1 ⭐ from my review Delivery: Scheduled delivery from 2pm - 6pm, and received promptly at 5.23pm within the time slot. Communication: Seller is responsive thru FB messenger chat and quick to reply to my delivery query. However, whatsapp messages could take a while for them to respond or might not...! Verdict: ??? one of the best Pineapple Tarts (except the Love Letters) in Singapore ??

I surely am in trouble! These are addicting. Our favourite would be the Almond Cookies, it's crumbly with a crunch of almond bits. The Green Peas Cookies are addicting too, we just like the Almond better. The chips are not oily, generously dusted and in big pieces. I personally dislike crushed chips even tho you get more quantity with smaller pieces. I'm generally not a big fan of sweets hence I can't give big comments about the pineapple tarts ?, but they do melt in your mouth with a very slight tang. They're firm to touch but melty once it touches your mouth. I also like that they're glazed nicely to a deep yellow, shaped perfectly round and bite size.
