I was there on Sunday 8 May at 1:30pm and the shop was not open at all. In fact, it actually seems to be permanently closed. And this was so frustrating because I tried contact the shop owner via the number stated here to place my order on Saturday (I was afraid that they would run out of crabs). But she asked me to contact another person, I did so and tried to place my order with that person but there was no response at all?!? They could have told me they are no longer in operation??? I wasted my time and effort to travel all the way to the hawker center just to find the shop closed......Terrible!!!!!

Saw the review by 8 days and decided to be adventurous and give this a try. Ordered a portion of the Banh Canh Cua with 1 full crab for delivery to my place at bedok. Soup, noodles and crab were packed separately, so noodles were not soggy. My first time trying out this Vietnamese crab noodles, portion was generous for its price point. Crab was definitely fresh. Soup was flavourful, which had a taste of the sea with a tangy characteristic, chef would have invested tonnes seafood into the soup broth. Delicious, left me wanting more! Please give this a try!!! PS: do contact the store owner to reserve your crab noodle orders at least a day in advance to avoid any disappointment, they run out really quickly! You may make a reservation/delivery order via the fb page link, which auto directs to the shop owner’s WA chat (weblink stated in the “overview” of google).

Went to the physical store this afternoon to order the base soup $8 (includes pork ribs, fish cake, mushrooms and bee tai mak ish noodles) and added half a crab for $10. The crab is sweet, has roe, and quite meaty. Just need to take some time to slowly peel and savor - that’s the fun in eating crabs right :) they open 1:30-8pm daily except Monday.

1st time having this Banh Canh Cua Crab noodles. Soup base taste of crab. Portion of noodles is huge. My crab is the last 1 and a half. Add the 1 crab. The crab has a fishy smell, probably it has been cooked since late morning. Overall, the noodles taste good with the crab soup base. For those who have not tried, can try it. There are other Vietnam dishes beside the crab noodles & Vietnam tom yum noodles. Will try the rest next trip.

Tried the Bánh Canh Cua and Gỏi Cuốn here. Excellent, very authentic. Even the Gỏi Cuốn sauce is correct, unlike those catered to foreigners. Well done! Will be back for more.

I read about it some time ago and got curious. The gravy looks like chilli crab but it’s anything but. It tasted rather sweet. The lady was kind of enough to peel the shells for me. Don’t expect a big crab though for $18. Also comes with lean pork slices, one pork rib, some fish cakes together with thick rice noodles. The chili dip goes very well with this. You have to eat it with the chilli for some kick. It’s something worth trying if you have not tried this before. I think it would better if they have a spicy version more like chilli crab. That would be something.
