Food is above average, but missed expectations from misleading advertising of menu food photo. Me: "Why is it a hard boiled egg for 'carbonara with egg'? The picture shows a raw egg yolk!" Reply: "sorry the photos are for display only." So, I paid first and my food didn't come out as expected. Didn't bother to argue, ate and left the egg for them to clean up. $8.50 worth of rage compared to surrounding stalls' $3.50 meals. Now I know why they put "Redefining your dining experience", but they didn't tell you it'll be a surprisingly disappointing redefinition by missing expectations via misleading advertising. Lesson learnt, my trust rating of Collin's went down from its zenith.

Had the rib eye steak and used a 1-for-1 Burple discount code for my dinner with a friend. Unlike some merchants who provided a smaller serving for such discounts to maximize their profit, they honoured their offer by providing a dish that was the same as what they offered regular customers. The steak was also cooked to my satisfaction.

21st Feb me & bf went down to dine in at about 11pm plus, the boy(Mr Loh)gave Good service Introduction , good attitude, he’s polite . And the dishes were great , the mushrooms soup was our favorite . Its one of the best western cuisine in the East. Will definitely return again.

Extremely delicious crispy chicken chop with the price point

Collin’s food, western cuisine is one of the best I have, compare to most similar F&B scale. Well cooked meat over the grills. Herbs and peppers season chicken, and pork ribs with a full bodied BBQ sauce. Aglio Olio is ale dente and packed with flavor. Salads are generously dressed. Oh ya, the mushroom soup is smooth, flavorful and yummy. Overall food quality quite consistent. A tip, Colins taste better when dine in. Recently tried Collin’s sister company El Carbon (unknowingly) , instant regret and almost “passed on” due to El Carbon poor food standard, service, food presentation. ??‍♂️ Do try El Carbon at your own risk. I enjoy Collin’s food and tried several outlet, from their Suntec, Paya Lebar and Geylang. Bravo for bringing up Sg western food standard and keeping to it. Most Sg western food are sad to say, sub par. Keep up the good works Collins. Hope to enjoy good westerns in years to come.

Ordered two mains and two soup for takeaway from the Common Grills at Aljunied coffee shop and was charged an additional $2.40. I checked with the staff and they shared that each takeaway “container” regardless if they’re for mains or soup costs $0.60 each. I was surprised as that was very expensive to me. I should also have checked with them before paying. On the side note, the chicken chop and fries were nice, while the fish and chips was too soggy for our liking.

Today went down to have a chicken chop but disappointed by the food they served... Meat is tastless for the chicken meat and is hard also... Noodle is also tast not so good. Most important is the black pepper source is out of the taste. So tonight overall Experience is no good hope the person in charge can do some improvements for the food they serve in further... cheers
