The place recently underwent renovation and has re-opened as Common Grill by Collin's. The facade has been updated and the ordering system is now similar to places like The Daily Cut. You choose a protein, a carb, 2 sides and a sauce. When your food is ready, the server places it under a heating lamp at the counter. Salmon is fresh and sweet potato fries are hot and crispy. Will definitely come back to try their other mains.

I used to be a regular diner here, however their quality is decreasing drastically. Today we ordered two medium steaks. One of them came medium-rare and both were full of veins and tandons, so we could barely eat anything off it. We couldn't even cut most of the steak. The lady was kind enough to change one of the steaks with a slightly better one.

Portions have decreased over time. Now, there's a new menu that allows u to customise your orders with 3 other sides. Good customization options along with some newer sides such as mashed potato and roasted pumpkin. Size of the main order varies so its not very consistent that you get a reasonable portion of the slab of pork rib which you order. Cashier is fairly patient but can't care less of what you order so u can order 3 different types of potato sides and he doesn't upsell a thing. The buzzer feature is good cos u can wait at your table. Overall, I'm just concerned as to whether paying 13 dollars for the pictures you see.. Is considered A reasonable price? And of cos don't hope that their pork ribs is as good as Morgan fields. It's not.

Food portions are worth it. Got the signature grilled chicken chop which cost only $12.50. Chicken chop is tender and will come back to try other dishes. Alternative option to the collins at Westgate where there is service charge.

Decent western food in the heartland. Portion was generous with good food quality. Went to try the ribeye and fish & chips. Side pasta was served al dente while steak seems to have been tenderized, sauce was good. The fish & chips was crispy on the outside but moist inside. Shroom soup is unremarkable but for the price you are paying no complaint.

Big portions for the price, so is value for money..taste wise is good for the price too.. Overall, a good place to tuck into good Western fare at value prices.. good for families n frens to have a good well priced meal together..

Better than average Western food stall. I will often order from here rather than the handful of western stalls in my neighbourhood. I especially recommend their tempura squid, it's really delicious.
