Decided to try after reading some blogger who wrote about this place. There wasn't really a menu and the staff just verbally told what was available and basically we ordered each of everything. Service was a little slow even though there were only 6 people in the entire cafe. 1st was the rojak churro which was quite interesting, the churro was like the youtiao and the rest of the ingredients were wrapped in the rice paper. It tasted good but was kinda deconstructed didn't really know how to go about eating it. The crab burger and Tofu fries was next. Burger was okay quite enjoyable and so was the Tofu fries with the dip sauce. I guess it was a good combination and the tofu fries would just seem kinda out of place by just ordering ala carte. Last was the coffee pasta, which I thought was the "disaster" of the entire meal. Kinda hard to appreciate coffee taste on the pasta, which left a bitter aftertaste even after the meal. On the other hand the beef that went along with the pasta was so well cooked the meat was very tender and juicy. I think it was cooked separately and later added to the pasta before serving so it didn't really have much of the coffee taste (which I said thank God).

I made my order via Whatsapp, which was prompt and fuss-free (after trying website and FB messenger, which always indicated non-availability and didn’t respond, respectively). Sellers were friendly and polite when I went to pick up at the store. The Ayam Penyet Burger meal was generous in portion for the price ($19.90). The two sauces provided were tasty and not too spicy. However, there was only tofu fries in my order although tempeh fries were supposed to be inclusive as indicated in the menu. Batter of the fries tasted the same as that of the chicken, which can be rather jelak towards the end of the meal. The chicken also tasted more like fish and chips than ayam penyet. Nonetheless, an enjoyable meal.

When you first step into the establishment, the whole place just smells very greasy. They could improve on their ventilation. Surprised to see their seasonal menu only consist of one item - either the single or double Ayam Penyet burger. (If there were other food options in the area, will definitely walk out) Food was over fried and I doubt they change their oil frequently. I would very much rather eat the actual Ayam Penyet as compared to this. Will not recommend.

Was not impressed at all despite adjusting down expectations for neighbourhood location. Price : expensive Service : poor, despite having 10% service charge Menu : limited selection including beverage Portion : slightly better than average Crab meat pizza : 7.5 out-of 10, then again how bad can it be especially when the sauce is very similar to chili crab sauce I.e. using chili sauce to make Ayam penyet burger : 3.5 out of 10. 1) doesn't describe the dish of smashed chicken, chicken was thick, difficult to cut. 2) meat was not tender & succulent, does not seem to have been pre-soaked in salt water and/or marinated properly, flavour was mild, would think most hawker or even coffee shop proper ayam penyet would be nicer 3) fried beans pretty ok, kinda feels like having foie gras 4) fried tofu not bad too 5) 2x of sauces, seems pretty average Slow service and serving of food. Drinks not served with drinks. Charging premium prices but trying to be "environmentally" conscious is definitely not adding to customer satisfaction. ? Probably that's why I don't watch masterchef of any kind, just not impressed.

Surprised to see only one item on the menu. The chicken burger was not bad, but I thought the fried elements were a little over fried (?). The chicken patty and the flour of the tempeh fries and tofu fries were a little over for my liking. May not visit again as I have already tried the only item on the menu. But the chilli crab sauce was really tasty with enough zest.

It's a delayed post as I had this more than a month ago. The place was quite secluded at the far end of blk 169 and not a place that you will have many people passing by the unit. The menu is quite limited and they have removed their star chilli crab burger during our visit (probably due to high price and not many people can afford to eat it regularly). We ordered the Ayam Penyet burger with tofu and tempeh fries at $19.90, and also the cold brew coffee. It's a unique combination and my personal experience is that the chicken patties are too oily for my liking. Would love to come again to try their signature chilli crab burger when available again.

Came here a few days ago. Seriously the Ayam penyet burger is the best chicken burger I ever had. The sides (tofu and tempeh fries) are fantastic too. We ordered the single patty and both myself and my wife finds it hard to finish everything. Loved it that they gave us 2 types of Chili, both delicious. The kaya and speculoos ice cream is the best way to end off this Asian style western lunch. Will be back for sure!!! ??

Ordered the double burger and had it at home. Loving every bit of it though it could be slightly less salty. Nonetheless, the overall taste complemented each other. The staff there was friendly and kindly advised us the time left for the kitchen staff to prepare the food. Though we didn’t eat there, the ambiance looks quite cozy. The thickness of the chicken patty was thick and juicy. It’s difficult to cook through the thick chicken patty, which the chef managed to do it without sacrificing the juiciness of the patty.
