Cue Guru - Bugis+

Super rude staff, especially the main guy at the counter, 50 dollars deposit for some unknown reason, don’t overshot by even one minute, they will take money from your deposit. Just a bunch of money hungry people trying to take ur money, very expensive as well $22 per hour on the weekends, no point to go anymore worst pool place ever. Buying your own pool table probably cheaper.

Place was full and they told us we were next, so we left a number. Saw some people leaving but they gave the table to someone else. they didn't call at all in the end, wonder if they take people's numbers for fun

Terrible experience, they make rules on the spot. They say only 3 per table otherwise you need to buy 1 drink for each additional person. Effectively you need to buy 2 drinks for 5 people. Very shady and scamy place. Arrogant staff, talking as if we are their waiters! Avoid this place if possible!!

Gave away our table within just 2 mins of missing call. Attitude issue as well as highlighted by many other patrons

Well… as an ex -part timer for this company, really sad about the attitude & service from the current manager. I fully understand that the timing is until 10:30 pm but he keep knocking our table rushing us to finish as if I don’t know the rules. We also happened to hear the manager scold a customer “rubbish” after talking to the customer. I think I’m lucky that I’m no longer working in this company hahahaha

The staff was horrible, they did not inform us when our time was over and just decided to overcharge us. We only overshot by a few minutes, and the staff was not even at the counter. He was gone for a long time and we thought we would check with him our end time when he got back. Extremely arrogant, I recommend Pool Fusion at the first floor of Bugus+ instead!

Worst experience at a pool place. Don't bother going there guys, its super shady and you'll only be greeted with a super rude and arrogant male staff. He talks to you as if you owe him your life and does not have the words respect and proper attitude in his dictionary. Shady because my friends and I were forced to purchase 2 drinks which was at ($8) just for 2 ginger ale and I actually looked around the place to check the other groups but the groups who were their regular customers (I asked around) were not forced to buy any drinks at all and their attitude to their regular customers was totally different from what was given to us. The male staff was downright rude and just talking down on you. Hopefully cue guru notices this otherwise they'll just lose more business and get a tarnished reputation. The prices are steep as well, $18 for an hour and they are super strict on their own rules such as having to play for a minimum of 1 hour and you have to time yourself otherwise you'll be charged extra if you exceed the hour. (Also, the staff will start the timer straightaway the moment you book the table while also forcing you to order drinks).

Honestly, everybody else here is right. I went here a few months ago and they guy behind the counter, who I can only assume was the manager, was extremely rude. The whole “better than thou” attitude really doesn’t fit somebody who is serving me drinks, effectively my waiter. You’re not a customer at Cue Guru, you’re a nuisance. I was thinking of going again tomorrow but never mind. I used to adore this place maybe 4 years ago but now it’s become a shell of what it used to be. I’m going to take my business elsewhere and I recommend you do the same. The manager can’t keep making money for being an incompetently rude parasite.
