Most of the reviews were not very positive but ironically for my colleagues and I, we enjoyed our dinner over at Dad’s Corner. Love the concept of serving seafood in the bucket, we tried the Butter and Tom Yum one. They have a few other sauces options too; like Creamy Garlic, Black Pepper, Chilli Crab, Percik and etc. Maybe would try that the next time. Good catch up place, cozy and light hearted. The service staffs were very helpful too. Thought Dad’s Corner can explore the possibilities of adding in option to change the rice to bread for the Tub combo. Cos the bread may taste well with the sauces; I.e. Tom Yum/Chilli Crab. Or bread and rice option. Haha. Gonna be yummy.

Had an awesome shellout session with family. We had the 3 tubs for $100 and some side dishes. The sauces were all delicious especially the percik, which has the lemak cili api taste (to me personally). We all love the honey glazed spicy wings. Must try. We also had the Panna cotta for dessert. It's creamily yummy. Overall we are happy and tummy satisfied. Good service, friendly staffs and great ambience for family to dine in. Will definitely come back for other menus! Thank you Dad's Corner and team for the shellout experience! Keep it up!

We ordered fisherman's platter, truffle fries and aglio olio. I love the crispy breaded calamarie and garlicky mussels that came with the fisherman's platter. My toddler loves her aglio olio. The prawns were fresh. The fish soft and moist but overcoated with batter. The truffle fries were a little hard as they were air fried. Maybe needed more oil, and truffle yes please. There was a generous amount of grated cheese on top of the truffle fries. Overall the food was tasty, served fresh, the portion was just right and the price was reasonable. Most of all, I have to compliment their service as Madam boss forked out the change for me from her own purse when I told the waiter I had forgotten to show him my CSC card for the 20% discount. It was already billed for by nets and he offered a cake because he couldn't undo the bill. Unfortunately I had just gotten tarts and cakes from Arab st so I had to turn down the offer. Lady boss overheard and came to the rescue. Was thankful they tried their best to allow me to utilise my membership discount. Thank you! We would definitely be back :) Wishing you good business!

This is my first and last trying your shellout. Here goes my honest opinion. Firstly, the sauce isn't nice at all. Secondly, stated in the Set C , there's gong gong. I only received one single piece of gong gong. Thirdly, most of the seafood is not well cooked especially the crab and prawn. The rest is okay . The portion of the rice is acceptable. I would like to apologize if any of this words resulted you in any kind of feeling but I had to let it out .

'Shell-ebrate' good times, head over to Dad's Corner! Scrumptious seafood spread, that brings finger lickin' good to a whole new level! If only one could taste the spread simply via pictures. On a seperate note, in regards to the earlier posted review by another - it is disheartening that in these trying times, we have fellow Singaporeans dishing out bad reviews simply because the restaurant owner/waiter was being responsible in ensuring the tightened measures were adhered too. I was present when it happened - and untrue reviews ought to be called out (i.e. owner was indeed wearing a mask throughout, and didn't speak like a gangster). Service industry isn't slavery industry and the owner/waiter did right, stood his ground, explained the ruling and situation explicitly. In fact it was the customer who was acting irresponsibly and for a lack of better word, "childishly" when thing didn't go his way. Period.

Order delivery 1 day in adv for set A come with 3 tub as requested by bday girl with the indication of no mussels due to bday girl allergy. Received call from shop 2 hrs before delivery that they unable to exchange mussels with anything as the set is fixed. As it is too last min for me to cancel and do not want to hassle further for the chef, we req to seperate the mussel and again they unable to fulfill the req. So we give in to their req which they will seperate all the 3 tub mussel to 1 sauce that we agreed on salted egg. When the delivery arrived, it come to shock that all the tub have mussels in it and bday girl unable to eat and join the shellout. Sad that all the comms come to nothing. Reasons from restaurant is 'so busy' and apologies thats it.

Finally get to dine in this what I call mysterious restaurant. it is always closed due to its many events booking. Quality of food is good and the staff is friendly and helpful when we were there for lunch after swimming. Their $5 pasta lunch deal is super affordable. canned drinks are at $2 each. So at $7 u can easily settle ur lunch grub. Highly recommended. do take note that they open 12 noon. call to check if they r open for walk-in prior to heading down.
