Nice place for spicy lovers and quiet ambience for weekday lunch. Food was affordable and ribeye with indomee was a good combination

A fine indonesian bistro serving Indonesian-western fusion dishes. Have visited them twice in the span of 10 days. Ordered the meat platter comprising of Ribeye steak (cooked to a perfect medium rare), well marinated fried wings and pork ribs, with potato and salad as sides. Makes for a good catch up meal with a buddy or partner over 1-for-1 Paulaner on tap. I can't recommend this place enough for the food quality relative to it's price point. Props to restaurant manager and staff, David and Shawn for their warm service and hospitality. Will be back for more!

Overall a very awesome experience, ambience, food quality and staff service wise. Verdict: Daun Bistro nailed their food. All the food that we've ordered, I expected to be moderately greasy, surprised me by being not. The Bali Pork Satay was soft yet tender unlike the conventional satays you eat outside, tough and rigid due to over grilling. Ribeye (MR) was soft and melts in the mouth, with no signs of overcooking on the outer layer. Batter for the crispy squid was good with the right proportion. A little surprised that the Oxtail Crazy Fried Rice's tender braised oxtail was a little fried instead of being a braised dish. Still loved it! My only suggestion was that the menu had a 'Iced Indonesian Jasmine Tea (Sweetened)' which is a famous indonesian drink called 'Teh Botol', maybe you can add the name inside the menu so that people can recognise the drink.

A must go place to eat! All foods are taste very good, staffs are friendly, environment is nice, satay and chicken cutlet are crispy, ox tail soup have very strong flavours! I rate 5 / 5 stars! Will definitely go to eat again! I very rare rating a restaurant.

Service was good as staff was alert. We ordered Batagor ($12.80), Bali Pork Satay ($12.80 for 6 sticks) , Ribeye Bakar ($25.80) and Daun Gelombang Samudera ($40.80). We were happy with all the dishes. A must order is the Bali Pork Satay. It was tender, moist and not fatty. Paired very well with the chilli sambal served and not with the usual peanut sauce. Salmon from Gelombang Samudera platter was moist and juicy. Another must eat is the crispy squid from the platter. The best best squid ever.Garnished with small pieces of fried garlic and chilli it was super delish.

Nice ambience, decent service and good food. Had the signature fried oxtail soup and the Sayur (salad). Soup and salad Taste authentic but the sambal was a tad too spicy and not as balanced as I would like. Mocktail is syrup and Fruit punch.

Nice place and ambience with friendly and efficient staff and service. Place is also frequented by Indonesians so you can be assured that the food is authentic to Indonesian taste. Tried the ribeye fried rice and side of indomie. Feel that the ribeye fried rice is worth the price and beef is cooked well. I chose medium for doneness. Ala carte of indomie is not so worth. Better to pair with a protein. Not too crowded and conversations can be conducted with your company with ease.

Not just a bar, but a bistro with standards. The squid is best I've had in Singapore. Prices are very reasonable. Second time I'm here. Will always come here if nearby for a quick meal/snack Just tried their steak, superb as well
