Delima Singapore Pte Ltd - 810 Geylang Rd

It is a very disappointing to start our journey with Delima from Singapore to melaka, 18 May 2019, 8.30am, bus number BKV 1933: 1. The driver attitude was terrible, we are getting accused of spending too long to clear Singapore custom and let him wait for too long. He even usually some rude word like 'bodoh' to us... Omg, as bus driver, don't you know clearing custom always take time. As a traveller, do you think I have the power to ask Singapore custom officer to proceed faster because my bus driver is waiting us...In addition, he said try to called my number, but he have been calling wrong number, and again accused why so stupid give him the wrong number... 2. We have total purchased 3 seaters, one of my friend have abandoned the ticket and unable to join us. The driver have abused by giving the seat to other without notify us. We have purchased the seat, even there is empty is still belong to us, he should have ask and check if we can sell the seat to him. It is very disappointing that it have ruined our day and mood to travel. Hope that Delima could take necessary action on this. Thanks.

I was a little wary given the mixed reviews they have on here but ended up getting two buses (KL to Malacca and then Malacca to Singapore). Both went without a hitch, drivers were nice and prompt. The first one maybe a little crazy but nothing less than you expect in this part of the world. The second one even waited for me when I had an issue at the border (you have to pay duty if you bring even half a pack of cigarettes into Singapore). Also very good value :)

I had unplesant trip from melaka to singapore for trip 2pm. Driver tried to preempt that he often got complaints on location of bus waiting areas, he said he would wait at bus bay near 170. He did not mention that all the luggage needed to bring down in Jb checkpoint. So, we did not bring down the luggage, he kept our luggage on bus seat and claimed we violated the malaysia custom rule and need to be fined 100. We said we did not know the rule, and so far our trip with other bus travelling company before did not mention we need to bring down the luggage in Malaysia checkpoint. He said he already paid the fine on behalf of us and wanted to claim back from us. We needed him to produce receipt but he could not produce. So, we disagreed to pay. We proposed to ask him to come to jb immigration office to clarify, if we really violated the law, we are agreeable to pay, but he refused and said that bus jam. What an unprofessional s and wr fdriver!

The worst and lowest class of services given especially the rude bus driver! This is my first time taking Delima bus but felt huge disappointment to them. We are trapped in Singapore custom Manual Immigration Clearance for about one an hour plus due to heavy flow of people. After Immigration clearance, we quickly went to bus as we knew that all passenger on board bus had been waiting for us. We felt sorry to them for waiting long but unexpectedly the bus driver put his temper to us. He complained that the wrong phone number were given during bus ticket registration, caused him unable to contact us and delay the schedule. But, in fact the number is real and registered under our friend who was absent on the day. We have explained to the driver but he ignored it and starts getting us into embarrassment, together with few passengers. Although we have made a mistake, missed out to update the contactable number to him but at the same time actually we have already informed him that our friend was not come before departure to SG custom. The response received from the driver was to wait for a while then after we totally forgot about it till the incident happened. In short, the driver attitude was damn not respectful,tolerance to customer and shameful. As a customer, we will never ever spend money to buy such kind of services!!!!! He is not qualified to get even 1 star rating.

When boarding the bus in Melaka the driver was no where to be found until we took off. No one to confirm that we were in fact going to the correct destination. At the Melaka customs there was no instruction on where to meet the driver and when we got on the bus the driver was yelling to hurry and started driving away with the door open as I was boarding. At the Singapore border the immigration line was very long. By the time we got through the bus had already left us and another couple behind at the border. We had to pay another bus company to take us to the bus station. I advise not using Delima.

Booked the trip Singapore to Malacca, and got really scared after reading the bad reviews here: It all went well. The bus driver was nice and waited for us. I guess it is a good idea to hurry through Customs & Immigration on the Malaysian side (The queue can easily take 15-20 minutes). Do not forget to take the luggage through customs

They just left us at the border. Don't go with this company they don't care if you're on the bus or not

I heard so many bad reviews about this bus past few years ago. But after the pandemic i just took the risk to try out this bus i was surprised by how friendly the driver is even help me to store my luagage. The journey from Melaka to Singapore was a smooth ride the bus driver drove carefully but we still reach Singapore on time around 3-4 hours almost. Thank you Delima will try again in the future. Keep it up!!
