Abbas Who can terminate Either the employer or employee can TERMINATE. You must give your employer advance notice in writing. To terminate without notice, The Employer will have to pay Employee compensation in lieu of notice A termination letter is mandatory. Must be in writing.Wrongfully dismiss employee can FILE A WRONGFUL DISMISSAL CLAIM. How many times did you did that? Abusing your role as a stall owner? 3? 4 or more? MOM should take a look what's happening to Singaporean who work cash money work at Abbas restaurant. No emphaty at all.

Hi to Abbas Restaurant I visited Abbas restaurant last weekend after shopping at City Plaza and it was raining very heavily. I was with my kids and elderly mother. I came to eat the prata and Indian mixed rice. But I was very very disappointed when I wanted to sit at the indoor area with ceiling fans and the tables in the middle are pasted with stickers stating reserved for chickata customers. And i was chased away by your very very rude male staff wearing chickata shirt shouting at me and my family by saying it is reserved for their customer. Hello? the table is empty!! I am also a paying customer and I am with kids and senior citizens. Why can't we sit at the indoor area?? I understand if the whole restaurant belongs to Jom Chic-kata but it's not right as I see there are other vendors too. I feel should be fair to all customers and make it based on 1st come 1st served basis. It states there after 5pm. Does it mean that only Chickata customers can sit in the well-ventilated area? I mean we are all paying customers. please please at least be considerate and gracious about this and give priority to senior citizens and young children right??? Having to deal with cranky kids and can't even get a seat that is in a well-ventilated area. I have never come across coffeeshops that have reserved seats. Usually, it's free seating. And it was also raining heavily too. I hope your male staff will improve on the way he speaks to customers. I was shocked that he shouted at me in front of my kids, my mum and other customers and it was just because we were sitting there. This is my 1st and last trip to Abbas Restaurant and will feedback to City Plaza management about this matter and hope the management can look into this matter. I am disappointed that they asked my young kids and senior citizen to sit at the rear end of the shop. Shouldn't be discriminating against customers.

This is a 24 hour restaurant. The main draw to thus place is the chikata hotpot. There are also satay stall, which in my opinion is one of the best. There are also stall named zombie Western food. ( I think). It is not crowded during weekdays night. But on weekend, this place is packed with customers. There are also seafood stall beside chikata. The drinks stall have a normal Indian Muslim food like rojak, berani, nasi ayam etc. This is a good place to unwind during weekday's after work. Not so during weekends.

$6.50 for a plate of nasi goreng ayam n the chicken they used in the rice was all big pieces of chicken bones. Order at your own risk.

we understand some premises have a no outside food and drinks policy, thus my family and i always respected these food places by not consuming them when we have outside drinks. we had bought drinks earlier to break our fast and could not find any other places to eat so we decided to dine there. the food here was meh, and it was not as advertised. we bought 3 plates worth of meal and a glass of drink. only when we were done around 30 mins later, male stall owner wearing glasses told us that we cannot have outside drinks placed on the table. he told us to put them in our bags or on the ground. we explained that we were already done and that the place was already unsanitary enough to put the drinks on the ground. plus, our bags would get wet if we were to place the drinks in our bag. but he insisted and when we said we would wipe the water off, he just took our drinks (which were still quite full btw) and threw it away. he threatened that he would fine us $300 and my mum immediately called the police. he did not even apologise. if your food is already not up to standard, the most you could do is to maintain customer service as a businessman. clearly he doesn’t know his food and his stuff. i understand we are not allowed to bring outside food and drinks, the most he could have done was to give us a plastic bag if he wanted us to put them on the ground. plus, he should have told us off from the very start and not when were about to leave. such a mood spoiler.
