Ordered Sweet and sour chicken which was very nice. Stall owner was very helpful in setting up the table and suggesting other stalls for speciality food that they do not serve personally ?. Will come back again.

Been years since I had seafood at newton, because of the bad press of yester years. Found this gem, and tried it. Had BBQ crab, BBQ stingray, steamed Gong Gong and sambal kang kong. The seafood is fresh! Had to say the BBQ crab is amazing, a little buttery and salted, it was delicious!! The stingray is great too! The wife loves the gong gong as she is from Sabah, and found it fresh and nice too! Owner is friendly and sincere. Will be back for more I promised, the wife loves it! Thank you.

We sat down near the stall and the stall owner proactively left his menu on our table so we decided to give it a shot. The sambal stingray was surprisingly good (the previous stall we tried was one of the "famous" ones but had only so-so sambal). The fish was fresh and sambal fragrant, and the kangkong was soft and quite a good quantity. We also added cockles later on and we ordered fully cooked but the cockles were done very skilfully such that they were not bloody but not shrunken by overcooking either. The prices were reasonable as well, all were small portions and stingray was $12 while vegetable & cockles were $6 each. The food came speedily and service was good as well, the stall owner helpfully changed our plates when he noticed our plates were dirty from the first round of seafood we ordered. We are happy to have given this stall a try and I will gladly eat here again!
