★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The friendly lady was making bright pink colored tapioca jelly cubes for the traditional bur bur cha cha or bo bo cha cha dessert - yam, tapioca with colorful tapioca jelly in coconut milk.
I bought some for takeaway and it was one of the better bo bo cha cha desserts I have had so far. Not too sweet and there were ample bits of yam pieces inside. Unfortunately the tapioca jelly was undercooked and still white in the middle and thus hard to chew.
It was close to 8pm which was closing time but she said she stayed open a little later sometimes if there were patrons.
The store is clean and tidy and the ingredients for various desserts look fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice lady manning the stall. Unfortunately, the deserts were not exceptional. I have tried the peanut and sesame pastes, both of which were smooth but not particularly fragrant. The sweet potatoes were too hard and bland. Stall was clean and accepts e-payment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this is the best black sesame paste i’ve had around. it has a very rich flavour and a super smooth texture. i like that it’s not very sweet like others out there. it’s on the slightly pricier side with $2.80 for the small bowl and $4 for the big bowl
however i feel it’s better to get the small bowl as the big bowl doesn’t seem as value for money
anyway hope the owner can keep up with the standard of the desserts
