Here on a Saturday. The coffee, cakes etc - basically anything that’s already prepared or quickly made - is great. But the place is still under renovation and they’re serving made to order dishes prepared in a makeshift kitchen. They’re struggling a little with these orders. Better to stick with the pastries, coffee and other readymades.

Good: Cosy place. Good coffee and food. The main local Chinese male barista with undercut is very precise with coffee, and also had superb service- offering to tie a string for my takeaway box for easier carry when they explained they don’t give plastic bags. This is an example of great service - stand by your green principles but also offer customers practical solutions. Upgraded to 4 stars from 2 because of management response to said issues Bad: Sometimes too crowded, no management of walk ins and tables. As a walk in customer you won’t know what to do to get a table or receive food. there was a male cashier with spectacles and slightly curly hair who seems a little too emotional and talkative - even raised his voice and cut me off as I was asking a question on seating. Firstly, train or re-role that staff, hostility in customer service is not acceptable. Secondly, put up signs explaining that customers are to check in and look for tables on their own, wait for coffee, but food will be served to the table.

We are regulars here. Came back to check out the place after their recent reno. The on-site baking is gone, saw their cupcakes are now delivered to the shop. Was standing there trying to order but nobody was serving as they were busy unloading the cupcakes until I called out. Love their outdoor seating at the back, which is pet friendly too. Coffee is still as good. Will come back again.

I ordered the choc truffle fudge and posy. I thought the price was quite alright. Certainly not cheap $81, but for artisanal production I believe this is great. You can see the freshness of the flowers and we could smell them too! Whoever your supplier is, keep them! Haven’t tasted the fudge yet though! They were kind enough to remind me to collect on the day after I forgot to do so due to my schedule. I collected the next day and they were chill about it. However one of the truffle was lying on its side. Fortunately I got them to open up to check before I left otherwise my family would have opened it and it would have fallen over lol. There was some reluctance to open maybe because they had simply tied a beautiful bow on top of the box itself. The friendly lady spent a few minutes struggling to tie it. Lol. Also obliging enough to tie a string because it was a bit hard to carry the box and big bag of flowers without another bag for the box! Update: had the fudge red one raspberry white is white choc. Raspberry was so delightful! Hard to come across a bakery that can mix sour of raspberry and balance with the choc centre. Simply oolalah!

I commend the staff for they are so polite and efficient despite being so crowded. I also noticed that they check each table to make sure everything is okay. Food was so good. I definitely would recommend this cafe ?

Didn’t have their coffee because they were using Allpress but decided to give the Apple Ginger Lemon a go, which was actually pretty good. A little on the sweet side but on a whole, reasonably balanced. Pastry selections were plenty, and they were quite creative. What I thought was a wrap turned out to be a sandwich also tasted alright. All in all, pleasant experience! The inefficient use of the space, however, meant that there were less seats than available.

The iced coffee is a MUST to try They sell other products and books too .. i think it will be my favourite spot
