DF Academy @ Ang Mo Kio - 4190 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6

Poor arrangement & bad experience… I paid for a trial - 4 lessons. Firstly I tot it will be a new starting for everyone, but not. When I join in the class, most of them have learned it (instructor teach the chorus part only) 1 or 2 weeks ago. I literally lost, unable to catch up the move (what can I do… as a beginner). Wasting my time and money… Instructor was quite friendly, explained that she can’t slow down n teach steps by steps just for me (which I understood) next week will be finishing this chorus and learning new song (chorus) another week. But I have lost my interest to learn at this academy, they shld have arrange it in better way. They don’t care about your learning experience. Besides, the studio was not convenient as it stated on website, it said 5 mins walking distance, but it took more than 15mins, especially in raining day. I requested to use my remaining 3 lessons on other place which is nearby my house but gt rejected. As I have to make another payment… that’s it. I won’t recommend this to my f.

Joined in the adults hip hop class and thoroughly enjoyed it! Loved how the instructor made it such a non-judgemental and fun place to dance and learn even though I had no hiphop background. Would strongly recommend!

The Instructor and Admin staffs are all friendly and helpful. Most important, they teach very good dance move as per Kpop. My girl like it so much.

Been dancing here for a long time and can say from experience that it's very family oriented and the instructors and staff are very friendly and helpful! The instructors are very patient, taking the time to explain the steps in detail. The songs that they teach are varied and keep me invested and motivated to keep going!! Highly recommend~~

I have been sending my children to this academy since 2019. It’s been almost three years and both of them enjoyed a lot. The instructors were really nice and experienced. I can really see their improvement throughout this whole entire fruitful journey. Thanks to their instructors :3.

My kids have been with DF Academy under Ashleigh for almost 5 years now. They enjoy the class and look forward to class every week. For parents looking for a place to bring your kids to learn kpop, this is super recommended. We have seen the passion and dedication of Ashleigh and rest of the staff that they have shown towards each and every one of the student. Thanks DF Academy for bringing fun and joy to my kids in their dancing journey growing up.

Instructor Jacky is very patient and encouraging. He recognizes effort, not just talent. The atmosphere in classes are always warm and light hearted. Everyone looks out for one another. Despite being a shy person who is often awkward with people, I feel like part of this large family whenever I step into the studio. Have been learning from him for more than 10 years. Would highly recommend to my friends.

Decided to try something new and learn to dance during the pandemic. I have no prior dance background and I could not be happier with my experience at DF Academy. Our instructor Jacky is an incredible teacher, super patient and really good at breaking down the steps for us. He's always so encouraging, knows how to push us and make us feel comfortable at the same time. After almost a year at DF Academy, I'm so excited to see the progress I've made and also happy to have made friends in this little community! As an educator myself, Jacky is one of the best teachers I have ever met, and I would recommend him and his academy to kids and/or adults in a heartbeat!
