The fried rice is abit different , rice is moist and softer than KOF, price is $6.50 with pork chop. Pork chop is marinated but can only taste the marination on the surface. Food is better than some branches of KOF, but inferior to some.

Same comments as the earlier reviewer - The strong five space can be tasted more at the surface. Could use more tenderizer for the pork. Looks and price wise very good!

2.5 stars. It was a long queue on a weekend dinner belt in early Feb probably due to its opening. When I returned on a weekday dinner timing in late Feb, no more crowd. The pork chop and prawn cake are decent but I find the rice lacked flavour. I think the fried rice from King of Fried Rice to be more flavourful. The soup could be more sour and you can ask for extra vinegar.

Actually I saw many people commented “egg fried rice” got no taste, tasteless, bland etc… i realise no matter it’s from DGG or from other hawker brand like Hong Style, Chef Wang, Fire Rice or others (except for kofr), most people will still give 1 star and said egg fried rice no taste… ?‍♂️ So I suggest people who like egg fried rice with more taste, order those with flavours like Tom Yum / Sambal / Garlic / Special egg fried rice. I ordered the Special egg fried rice and it was so tasty, FULL of flavour! Rice was so fluffy too! Pork chop was satisfying too, very thick and juicy! Lastly, if you like fried rice with lots of wok hei, just go DTF? Or go try Wok Hey and see if they have wok hei in it? ?

Superb sambal fried rice with pork Chop. I added luncheon meat for more oomph! Love this simple dish which is full of flavour. My family will order this whenever we feel like pork Chop fried rice.

Ex-Chef of a famous Taiwanese chain restaurant famous for similar dish is the master behind the wok! Have this very familiar taste at a reasonable cost for their signature dish with moist egg coated rice and crispy and flavourful pork chop fried to golden finished! Next I would order is the prawn fried rice. Though just as good, I feel they can outdo themselves and use fresh salt water prawn instead of the one using now. I’m sure ppl will be willing to pay slightly more for such premium. Lastly, side dishes are there to choose but hope that there are more choices to make a meal more complete.

Ordered egg fried rice with pork chop. Pork chop not bad but taste not evenly spread and also some parts tougher to chew some is soft. Egg fried rice is standard, no wok hei.

Satisfying meal of porkchop egg fried rice and sweet and sour soup. Chop was a generous cut, lean and lightly seasoned. Egg fried rice was filling. On its own can be tasty but taken together with the pork, I can understand other people’s comments that the rice could use a bit more flavor. I decided to eat the rice separately to savor its more subtle taste. The bowl of sweet and sour soup was huge and full of tofu, mushrooms and many other ingredients I am not able to immediately recognize. Had a nice thick consistency. I’d enjoy it even more with an additional spoon or two of vinegar. Pleasant folks behind the counter. All in all, a good neighborhood substitute to a DTF porkchop craving.
