Diva Lash & Nails SG - 35 Selegie Rd

Went there on 29th June to get my nails done for a photo shoot! Initially when my nails were done, it looked really good and the price was reasonable that I got their package. That was my mistake! Within the next day, all my extensions started to drop out and mind you I got the more expensive of the extensions. I contacted them and they said they can help to do my entire set again, when I went the next day, they only managed to do a gel manicure without extensions for me! Horrible, considering that is what I needed to use for my photoshoot. In the end, even my gel set started to peel in 3 days? That has never happened to me! Waiting time was horrible - needed to wait like 1 hours each time despite being early for the appointment! And the attention to detail was not there. Vanessa kept on sneezing and coughing the entire time and got up at least 10 times while doing my nails to attend to other people. I messaged them again to ask them for a refund and they have not replied as of today. I have since made a police report on them and have provided the details of my transaction etc.

I was early for my appointment at 2pm however, they kept me sitting on a chair for almost an hour from my actual appointment time with no information when and if I would ever get my nails done. When I asked them, when it would be my turn, one of the staff replied with "soon the manicurist is on her way." However, after an hour, the manicurist that was already in the shop, replied that she would be the one assisting me. This was only after I decided to leave. Upon hearing that I have a doctor's appointment in half hour she said that she could do my gelish manicure fast within 15 to 20 mins so I could make it! I, with no training in this field, had to remind her that she would need time to do a proper job. I decided to cancel my doctor's appointment and stayed to do my nails as I took leave to get my nails done and run errands. If they were overwhelmed with appointments, they shouldn't have taken mine on. As much as their Time is important to them so is mine! As I missed my doctor's appt I requested for my toenails to be done as well. As you can see the service and skills provided seem questionable. The toenails painting seems horrid and my polish started falling off that night itself. The fingernail designs while pretty, didn't cover the entire nail. I tried to reach out to them about the shoddy job done on my toenails. They informed me that they would check and revert back but since then it's been silence. When googled I realised that they do have some pretty bad reviews as well. I totally will not be returning and am thankful I didn't get their package which they were trying to sell to me. I have been pretty patient and nice even telling them that their manicurist are alright and nice. However how long must one person wait to just get a simple reply.

Went to did my nails. - My nails turn up to be 100% different from the pic I provided. - My nails wasn’t straight even after she cut. (Pic provided) - She didn’t paint the side of my nails. (Pic provided) - She mix her own color however turn up some part of my nails didn’t even have color. *or maybe this is her kind of gradient. (Pic provided) Okay take aside all my complains, the nail tech was very friendly and nice, she make me feel comfortable. She mix her own color for me. Even though my nails didn’t turn up exactly how I want, I was actually satisfied. I am fine with the new design she provided, it wasn’t like ‘ugly’. If she could train a little more, cut nails better, paint better. It will be even better.

Vanessa & Marcus provided really good lash extensions! I know there are a lot of bad reviews but my personal experience is slightly different from what I've read. Every time I leave the salon, I'm super pleased with the results! Booking a slot can be difficult but I think if you're not too fussy, you can schedule it way in advance when you get to the shop. Running a business is hard, and I see Vanessa giving really good in-person service even when it's packed. Marcus was really fuss-free too, literally told him what I wanted and he delivered - simple and quick. Also kudos to having men in this line!

Super bad experience and never returning again. Had an appointment for lashes but still made to wait 30mins. The process was so unbearable with a super stinging feeling that kept making my eyes tear throughout the entire time during the eyelash extension. And what was most disappointing is that the results turned out to be so different from the photos shown. Also, the lashes starting falling off so easily as soon as i took my shower.

1) shop experience Wasn't great, door was locked(1st red flag), someone had to unlock the door to go into the shop. 2) appointment, waiting time - Made an appointment, went there on time. Had to wait for at least 30 minutes. That aside, there were only 1 manicurist and 2 lash tech but more than 6 people were waiting, it wasn't 6pm yet on a weekday) (2nd red flag) - a customer tried to make an appointment but was turned away and asked to come back tmr. She was saying that they were replying IG/messages while the worker was telling the customer that there wasn't any confirmed appointment (3rd red flag) 3) lash experience - before they start doing the lash, it was introduced to me that promotion on ig are for "premade lash" by factory. For hand made fan lashes, it is another set of price. (4th red flag) Paid $118 for 4D Kim K - I went ahead anyway. - after lashes are done, package was introduced to me. $350 for 10 sessions, they will give me the current set for free. Plus, current set will have a "warranty of 2 months, unlimited touch up". Sounds good right? Obviously it's too good to be true (5th red flag) yup, I did no purchase the package, wanted to see how is the quality before committing to it. 4) leaving the shop Well as other reviewed have mentioned, there are a whole lot of people waiting IN and OUTSIDE of the shop. 'nuff said (6th red flag) 4) Lash retention My previous set done by another tech elsewhere lasted me 1.5 months and I went to diva only because I needed to do it urgently. The lashes done by Diva is one of the worse lashes I have ever had by far. Just.. Look at the photo attached. How does this look like a quality for $118? (7th red flag) For me personally, I wouldn't even go back to them for any touch up even though its for free for the next 2 months. Oh not to mention, the glue smells Really strong. I only wished that I've read all these reviews before going to them. So ladies, your call to visit them, or not. Good luck Diva lash & Nails. Update/ 2 weeks went back, my lashes all dropped. Man.. This $118 lash set is the worst. Ever. No thanks for the free 2 months touch up - they weren't comfortable and have its like cluttered lashes sticking t single lashes.

Would give this place zero stars if I could. It's okay if the manicurist couldn't do the design that I wanted, because I could tell that she tried her best. But my pedicure did not even last me a day. I went back home, and realised that the top layer for one of the nails dropped out. I went to touch the other nails and the top layers dropped out as well. The layers applied were not properly cured before the next layers were applied. Message them about this, but they took forever to arrange a slot where I can go down to fix it. Totally not a good experience.

I wish I could give a zero star to this place. I did my lash extension on Saturday. The spectacled lady that did my lash was not bad so I decided to sign the $350 package for 10 sessions. I signed it based on that experience that I had on that day. To my horror, the lashes started dropping on Sunday and it continued to drop on monday. So I went back for a rubbish touch up on Tuesday evening. Reason why I said rubbish, the guy doing my lash, sticked them on my freaking eyelids. So I had enough and requested for a refund of the $350 package that I did not use. This scam place tells me they need to let their management know then get back to me ? I doubt they even have a management. I’ve been pestering them for a refund every single day. Sending them very regular messages. Also, I have since then made a police report and also informed my bank of this fraud. Unfortunately I’ve yet to get my refund. I am planning to go down to the shop and hound the staff. If need be, I’ll stand there (while waiting for them to refund me) and warn all the appointments that are coming in ? Cause at this moment, I’ve nothing else to lose. They can try calling the police to get rid of me but I know they won’t, because of all of the unethical things that they had done so far.
