Inkstinct Tattoo Studio

Was walking around looking for a place to get a small tattoo done and ended up on Chander Rd. Inkstinct Tattoo is just beside a barber shop with a tattoo studio inside (?????). I decided to compare the prices for both Tattoo places. The Barber shop quoted $50 for what I wanted. And Inkstinct quoted $100. I decided to go for the Barber shop since it is cheaper. Went for lunch and came back after the previous customer was done. I AM HORRIFIED BY WHAT I SAW ON THE CUSTOMER. The tattoo was so so so badly done. No wonder I can't look them up on google, instagram or facebook. Went upstairs to Inkstinct for my tattoo instead and I AM GLAD I CHOSE INKSTINCT. Their works are underrated!!!! People should know of this place!!! Tattoo is a life long commitment so please choose wisely. I am lucky to be able to witness the Barber shop's work. I doubt all the work the advertise outside their shop are even theirs. How much you pay is what you will get. Oh, when I wanted to leave the barber shop to go upstairs to Inkstinct, they told me they are the same shop. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM. Inkstinct is on the second floor and I totally recommend them. I'll definitely come back for a portrait tattoo done soon! AMAZING!!!

Let's see where to start - came to know about this place and the tattoo artist from a friend as had always wanted to have a piece of art for ages but heard many horror stories about skin art go south due to poor art works, unreasonable charging, unprofessional behaviours, etc. This is a major decision and it will stay with you for life, you really have to choose the Right One - i had only took the leap of faith after strong recommendations from a trusted friend and a preview of the artworks my friend had done with the artist (which i must admit that i was pretty impressed as even though i had been a A grade art student, i will not be able to sketch it to such minuscule details even with a 2B pencil (let alone tattoo-ing). Now to the Dream Team - Pleasant, friendly and dynamic personality is the artist; Barry and his merry team - Mr Bird and Princess Dayah. Barry was utmost professional and patient in understanding what i wish for and explaining the process in designing the customised masterpiece of my dreams. It came within 48hrs - fast right? Yes i thought it is and with multiple options. Finally decided and made the jump in 3 days time. The entire session though seems scary (i hated needles and never did like hospitals) but it just brush away as he patiently assured, eagle-focus worked on (pretty charming when a guy is focused - ladies would love it and as a guy i respect that) in creating my dream masterpiece. As the clock ticks, there were never a dull moment as he will crack up jokes which never fails to tickle my funny bones. Pain? Of course there will be some pain - No Pain No Gain, No Risk No Venture After 3.5 hours.. TALA!!! The masterpiece of my dream is born. What can i say, except - a TWO thumbs up and i was pretty surprised by the price - many shops had quote me much much higher and seems to make them more like a mercenary businessman than a master of arts. And in all truth, it is a bargain for the quality of works and services. Nothing much to pick on really, everything was sleek, honest and realistically practical to your Wants - what more can a man ask for i say. My humble recommendation - A MUST visit place for body arts lover, surely thou shalt not regret. Godspeed

Had two done at Inkstinct Studio yesterday — they came out really clean. A huge shoutout to Dayah for her professionalism — also, the steadiest hands I’ve seen in a while. Will recommend to more friends looking to get their ink done!
