★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the 12 pieces of Shangdong Fried Dumpling for $5. Not bad in terms of taste, the filling is quite dense, but will get jelak after a few piece.
The order and serving time can be a havoc because the cashier not very organise, because of this, customers often left waiting for a long period of time, just have to be patience.
The placement of utensils and condiment is also not strategic, one end to another end. Anyway it is good place to come for lunch for something different.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the dumplings here - they're huge, generously stuffed, juicy and affordable. Definitely a top choice when I need to satisfy my dumpling craving. ?

Turns out that their 炸酱面 is pretty darn good too! But tbh it's not like your typical Korean version so do bear that in mind. Very filling in terms of portion, so I mostly share it with my wife.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, their noodles are pretty average, soup is extremely bland during the time i ate it BUT the real good deal is the xiao long bao! 6pcs at $4, can't beat this price elsewhere. Love their filling and the flavourful soup inside it! The only downside is that the skin is on a thicker side.
Not forgetting their free flow chilli oil that go extremely well with all their dumplings, be it fried, pan fried or steamed. This place is probably the best in the west! Literally every table will order 1 basket to go along with their food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable at $4 for 6 XLB. But to draw a comparison, the skin is thicker and less fine that the ones at DTF. However the meat servings are bigger, but there seemed to be less soup in these XLB.
Overall still good substitute at a much cheaper price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered beef noodle dry, and requested for soup which the stall operator readily obliged. The soup was flavourful, noodle was nicely seasoned with chilli and vinegar. Beef slices were very tender, and texture of la mian was just right. Will definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

红油抄手 and xiao long bao taste really not bad. Price for xlb is economic and affordable.
Guo tie to be honest i dont find it authentic at all by judging its appearance: it is literally fried dumpling 炸水饺 instead of pan frying it. Such a disappointment.
炸酱面 portion personally find it soso, mince meat has abit of gamey smell.
In overall i would think it is over rated.
Similar stall 鑫鵬 at beside the clementi market probably would be a better choice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dumplings were such a disappointment and I agree with many similar comments that their standards have slipped. No longer fresh and fragrant, not they are hard and tasteless.
The Tomato and Egg ramen was another let-down. Hardly any taste to it. Not sure if their success have gotten to them.
