Dr Catherine Lee Orthodontics

I had to put a star if not this review would not be posted. Well to be frank, I chance upon the above reviews. Just as mentioned above, I tried to be as understanding as possible when I received my bill, thinking that Dr Lee is thorough with her work. She is, in fact very thorough, however, my experience was still a poor one. Or should I say, experiences. Never have I had a pleasant visit to this clinic. Dr Catherine Lee Orthodontics evokes discomfort in me, and it is indeed disheartening to admit that visits there spoil my days. The staff there, including Dr Lee herself, gives me an impression of a “gold digger”, viewing me as more of someone they can earn money from, or even look down on, rather than a person they genuinely want to help. Dr Catherine Lee Orthodontics do receive 5-star reviews, but as seen above, from an ex-staff. Have they considered a patient’s point of view? As a patient, I would like to have a doctor who truly would like to help me, and is not after my money at the end of the day, holding me captive and “leeching” off me. I am sure we, as patients consider both quality of the doctor but also the experience of every visit as a whole. I truly hope that Dr Catherine Lee and her staff will be able to view this review, reflect and improve (not in terms of higher charges), but really consider what the patients may feel and their overall experiences.

I chance upon the above review and as an ex-staff of the company, I would like to comment that Dr. Lee is an extremely professional orthodontist with great international standing. She is thorough with her work and spends time in treatment planning for each case before coming up with her treatment recommendation for each patient to help patients make informed decisions on their treatment. She takes functionality of the teeth as the priority and help patients keep as many teeth as possible without prosthetics wherever possible. She educates her patients with regards of the wear and tear process of the molars which may result in future problems (cracks, breakage, sensitivity).She was also able to pick up problems other Dentist/orthodontist did not pick up or misdiagnosed. Based on her credentials, experience, attention to details in orthodontic work and the quality equipment her office is built, I personally do not feel that her fees should be the same as any dentist or orthodontist. I did my orthodontic treatment when I was 21 with a dental clinic at around $4,500 which was reviewed by my peers to be "good". At the end of the treatment, the results was not what I expected - I still have a deep bite and overjet which I was told could not be corrected and I will have problem with later in life. It has always been at the back of my mind to be treated by Dr. Lee one day. At the end of the day, what I am trying to convey is that, treatment fees is really relative. There are people who would think that a 10- 30,000 investment on their teeth is worth it while others would rather spend the same amount on a branded handbag instead of their compromised teeth. There is no standard or a correct fees so as per say, just how much you are willing to spend or see the importance in it.

100% would recommend. Excellent customer service by both the staff and Dr. Lee. To the potentially fake reviewer’s comment, orthodontist offices use suction which can be noisy, especially with extra Covid procedures, it does not mean they are “yelling“ at staff.

Dr. Lee has been my family dentist for 6 years. Over this time she has preformed realignment treatment to my children and to myself. She always suggested optional treatments including many lower cost options that have the same outcome. She never over charged or asked for additional payments. The end results are excellent and my kids and I are very pleased with the results. I cannot recommend her highly enough for her skill and professionalism.

I started my orthodontics treatment with Dr Lee many years back. My case was extremely complicated to begin with, but Dr Lee patiently worked on my case and her level of professionalism is definitely commendable! Price for her treatment may be higher compared to other orthodontics clinics at the heartlands, but specialist prices do come with a price to pay for the professional's highly qualified skills and expertise. So you pay what you get for. I have completed my treatment with Dr Lee, and I really thank her for taking care of me so well as a patient all these time.

I have been seeing Dr. Lee for more than 15 years. I was recommended to her for correcting my teeth (braces). She is one of the few very caring, dedicated, professional and compassionate doctor I had the fortune to meet. She takes the time to listen to my cares and concerns and gives me the best professional advise and options they can offer, always willing to work with me on my limitations and always take the time to listen to my questions and patiently explaining the options and issues to me. I feel very fortunate to have met her and glad to have her on my side as my doctor. Over the many years with her, I have seen the many changes in her clinic and services, from a one room treatment office and only one clinic assistant to the current location with very high tech facilities and many specialist assistants, I have consistently witnessed her dedication to provide the best care and treatments to her patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Lee to anyone I know without any reservations.

I Have been seeing Dr Catherine Lee for the past 20 years. I am a patient who was born without a jawbone and without a left ear. My condition was considered to be one in a million as usually people would have have either one of these conditions. So I started having ops at a young age to correct these conditions so that I am able to look normal. I met Dr Lee when I was 13 and have since been with her. She was brought in as an important part of my whole surgical procedure. When I was young, I was stubborn but she always have a way with me. She has always been gentle, funny and knowledgeable in all aspects. My case would probably have been her toughest as 20 years ago she was probably just starting OUT. but she took very good care of my oral care and at the same time being my orthodontist. Everything and every procedure she has done. Shaped to my beautiful, straight and white teeth. I am very grateful to what she has done so far. The past 20 years, my experience with her pretty much was very professional and yet heart warming at the same time. I am really glad, she was the one who helped me through everything. She is very dedicated to her patients. This is something not everyone but except her patients that would be able to see it and feel it. To be honest, no amount of words can describe just how thankful I am towards her. But.. THANK YOU DR CATHERINE LEE FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE!!!

Doc Lee has been my dentist for almost 8 years. She's done an amazing job and I really appreciate all the work it has taken to get me where I am today. She is firm, but not unfair, and does her best to accommodate patients where she can but she has no tolerance for people who waste time, which I admire. She's the expert and delivers the results she promises. Clinic staff are also extremely professional and capable and do a great job. Overall, I would recommend her to anybody thinking about dental treatment.
