Had many tooth cleaning experiences and Nuffield was one of those I'd recommend. The oral health therapist Aaron was very skillful and the whole cleasing journey was very pleasant. I will go back.

Went to Nuffield Dental Raffles to have my routine dental check and cleaning. OHT Aaron Seah is patient and gentle; updating me on the things he was doing and constantly checking and reassuring me during treatment. Overall great experience! From the reception till the end of the treatment, I was well taken care of. Highly recommend ?

Nurses and receptionists are nice, helpful and friendly. However, my overall experience was not totally pleasant. I paid for 1 tooth twice: first for fillings, then fillings fell off after 3 days so I chose to do an extraction. I was suddenly informed about a gum removal surgery only on the third visit. The dentists are good at their job and kind, but the process is a bit confusing. The cost at Nuffield is higher than other clinics. Thus, they may recommend more treatments/xray/scan in between, which may be unnecessary. Please read the 1 star reviews of all the branches of Nuffield dental and consider throughly. Some people said the same thing so it looks like a pattern here. You may want to check a second opinion if in doubt.

I had a simple tooth extraction due to crack in my tooth with Dr. Yeo Khee Lim on 30 Apr 2021 and it ended up costing over $2000. The dentist recommended me to do the bone craft which cost 1250. However I later found out from other dentists that it is absolutely not necessary to do bone craft given that my gum condition is pretty ok. And even if I chose to do it, it should cost half the price they charge me. The doctor also gave me unnecessary drugs to take, which includes β€œArnica Sinecch”, a homeopathic medicine which have no medical evidence and is not approved by FDA. It costs about 70 SGD with 12 tablets. (See attached my bill and description of this medicine) Some extra information (which I found out later) is that the dental is preparing for IPO so it is reasonable to infer that the dentists there would have huge incentives and pressure to get patients to pay more. I’m very disappointing that a dental is running this way. I’m sharing this review only 5 months after my visit is because that I don’t have the full information to assess the situation at the time of visit. And now the more I understand about the situation (for example, the bone craft is not necessary, the medicine they gave is not scientifically approved etc.) the more I feel disappointed about their incentives behind and the more I feel the need to share this with more people. Yes it is ultimately my own decisions to do all the procedures that the dentist recommended, and what the dentist recommended has β€œno harm” to my health. As a patient, bearing huge tooth pain at the time, I do feel vulnerable and I took all his advices, trusting him will put my best interest in mind. However sadly when I look back it is not the case. Any individual with reasonable judgement would have reached the conclusion that a tooth extraction costing over 2K is way too much, and that reveals Nuffield and its dentists’ true incentive. A dental clinic should have basic ethics and good doctors should put patients’ best interests above themselves, instead of being so money minded and only thinking about how much they can extract from every patient who walks into their clinic. Thank you for viewing this post.

I was on a business trip and unbearable pain with my wisdom tooth. I found this clinic and requested an X-ray. Dr Lim clearly explained the situation to me. I asked for the costs and gave me a full run down. Quick procedure and she extracted in less than 15mins. Overall 30mins in and out. From 1500 it went down to 780 due to it not needing a surgery. Thank you for the professionalism and great expertise. People at reception were nice. Staff were quick. Glad to be going back to Aus without this pain.
