β β β β β Dr Yong is truly professional and dedicated. I visited Dr Yong one evening after operating hours due to an emergency and he kindly came back to the clinic to review my case. I appreciated that he went out of his way to make sure I was fine, and was patient in explaining the implications of my condition. Would definitely recommend!

β β β β β I saw Dr Yong Shao Onn for a stye I had in my right eye. I was really scared but he was patient and kind. He released the pus with minimal pain, and showed me a cool video of him popping the stye!

With his experience in this field, he managed to adopt the best treatments to both my retina repair and lens exchange operation on both my eyes well. He is patient in explaining to me everything I needed to know so that I am also aware of the condition of my eyes as well as the procedure of the treatment. He is also positive but pragmatic. He will be honest to share with my the actual conditions of situation but always ready to assure that he will do his best to deal with them to his best of his ability. He listened patiently to my issue, and was then incredibly thorough in his investigation of my eyes, and calmly explained his diagnosis and possible treatment options. He also has a wonderful team of assistants that are similarly professional yet empathetic of any new patient's fears around seeing an eye doctor.

β β β β β Dr Yong was very detailed in giving me an understanding of my case and he was very patient and also detailed in answering my questions. He made me feel totally at ease with his friendly and jovial manner and the session did not feel rush unlike other doctors whom seem to want to see the next patient. I have since recommended him to a friend whom wanted a second opinion and he has also felt the same warm manner and has moved from his previous eye doctor to Dr Yong.
