Eye Surgeons @ Novena - 38 Irrawaddy Road #09-28/31

I was referred to Dr Fong Kee Siew by Dr David Chan from Atlas Eye for a growth/lump that has been gradually growing in size over the span of 10 years as she is an ophthalmologist with a sub-specialty in oculoplastic. I had my appointment with Dr Fong last Friday for a consult and possible same day removal of the growth. I was extremely terrified of the anesthetic jab on the eyelid but she was very motherly, assuring and patient. The whole procedure to remove the growth was over in no longer than 15mins. Aside from the jab where I winced, the entire process was really comfortable. I think the wound has recovered well considering there was very minimal swelling. Dr Fong has also kept the original shape of my lash line that when I look at photos of my eye now, it looks like the growth was photoshopped away! Thank you Dr Fong! I also appreciate the cross referral between eye specialists for the best interest of a patient.

I had a scratched cornea and recurrent corneal erosion as a result. Dr Por and his team were great in talking me through the available options, including fixing the affected eye and also getting optional lasik on my other eye, discussing the pros and cons and relieving the pain. The administrative staff are also very good and helped me arrange my insurance at the last minute.

I was there for an eye check up. The lady who attended to me in the eyesights testing room was quite impatient in a way. It was my first visit to the clinic, she did not take time to make a simple introduction, a greet, or even basic identification verification of myself. I was left wondering if she is in fact the Dr that i would be consulting. I was promptly tasked to sit and having to leave my bag on my lap while doing my eyesights test as she did not bother to leave any instruction on where to place my bag. I felt uncomfortable trying to balance my bag on my lap while focusing on the eye chart. After the test, no clear direction was given on my next station either. After being directed by someone else, Dr Poh Yong Ming attended to me. He was patient and gentle, taking time to explain my concerns and to be expected for my next test. Moving on to the Ptosis test, the male nurse was attentive and caring too. He ensures i truly understand how the procedure works before running the test. Every now and then, he will check how i was feeling. The receptionist was polite and friendly too. I would gladly given it a 5 stars, if not for the lady nurse who served me at the eyesights test station.

Dr KS Fong is exceptionally skilful, meticulous and thorough. I saw her for my eye condition and felt reassured by her detailed diagnosis. More importantly, she gave me the right prescription for my eyes and I can now see clearly again. Clinic tests and fees are reasonable as well. I highly recommend her for eye conditions.

Very poor service and staff working attitude need to be improved. Staff need to be professional in their comms. The whole procedure in the clinic needs to be reviewed to be more organised too.

Dr Por Yong Ming is a fantastic doctor. Professional, firm, yet very friendly, warm and approachable at the same time. I did my lasik with him but subsequently suffered a recurrent corneal erosion. RCE was really frightening but Dr Por was patient at all times, never rushed me and allowed me to take my time to ask all the questions I had, and more importantly, was knowledgeable and was able to reassure me repeatedly. The ladies at the front desk are also extremely warm and very helpful! Thank you Dr Por!!!!

I want to give my compliments to Dr. Por Yong Ming who has been so kind in tending to my condition for nearly 3 years, including performing a life-changing surgery for me. He explained everything very well and gave me much assurance through my fear. Now my eyes are better than they were ever and I could not thank him enough. Also compliments to the uncle who did my cornea test, he's always so busy tending to everyone but does well at his job all the time. Give him a smile when you see him please!

Maybe the doctor is great and experienced, but the nurse / admin are not patient ，or maybe we can say “ arrogance” Just finished the call with them coz I miss my daughter’s appointment , they told me they tried to call me but I off it( of course they always call you during the busy working time, and if you didn’t call back, they won’t call you too). I make another appointment for my daughter, and then the person who answer the call told me, they won’t give me any remind ( call or message) . This is a private clinic in mount E Novena, both me and my husband ‘s doctor are there, I also give birth there, ALL THE CLINIC ( EXCEPT EyeSurgeons @ Novena) will give the remind for our appointment , if we can’t answer the phone means we are not convenient at that time. why we spend much money in Mount E ? Of course because of their professional and good service, but not like this, will try to change another clinic for our kids. That who has time to remind our appointment .
