The best simple straightforward CCF (without all the fancy stuffing we get from other famous CCF stalls on our island. The sweet and chilli sauces are well blended to the slippery CCF and ends up with one satisfied customer. Best be here early in the morning cos they sell out fast.

Long standing stall which sells out early. Best Malaysian style chee cheong fun. Unique and savoury sauce.

Read online reviews about them often selling out early, but I reached at 9:45am and thankfully they weren't sold out. Their cheong fun is super tender, and the layers peel apart easily when gently nudged with a fork. The sauce is tasty without being overly sweet. Affordably priced, delightfully satisfying.

While the Hawker Center is packed with people and I stumble across this section whereby I'm sitting right in front of the stall and observing streams of people queueing up for this. They have been around for the longest time and have their own team of faithful fans around. Duo Ji is also known for its unique way of cutting up rice rolls. Unlike the Cantonese Style Chee Cheong Fun (CCF) whereby this traditional breakfast item is usually made painstakingly hot on the spot, Duo Ji had theirs freshly supplied by their supplier every morning. What could have possibly demanded the long queue? The CCF is generously spread with fragrant oil and sweet sauce. Their chilli sauce also enhances the flavour of the plain rice rolls and finally, sesame seeds were drizzled on top of it. Though these were from suppliers, I would say that their quality was not of the usual factory-made ones. The texture was soft and springy. Chee Cheong Fun - $2 If you want to have a taste, do plan it well as they are usually sold out as early as 9.30am in the morning.

Chee cheong fun and yam cake combo was OK at $3 but not impressive. It was served in disposables even for dine-in and only cash was accepted.

Traditional and comforting. Generous with the sauce which soaks the silken Chee Cheong Fun pieces thoroughly.
