Started the year with nice hot porridge. Nice! The porridge is infused with lots of century eggs and minced pork. They sell very nice yam cake and cheong fun as well. Really worth trying!?

โ โ โ โ โ Hands down the best yam cake in SG. $2 a portion, works as a good snack. There is also a half yam cake half Chee Cheong fun option for the same price as well. I like mine without the sweet sauce.
They also sell porridge, ba zhang, bee hoon etc but.

โ โ โ โ โ Service was really really bad. The staff was just not bothered with our questions and the Chee Cheong Fan that we ordered did not come with any seasoning until we request for them, one by one. Staff also gave impolite hand gestures when we could not make out what she was mumbling about.
I don't expect tip top service here but being rude is something else. So if you just want to buy and go off, should not be any issue I suppose. The staff is not there to answer to anything, including the pricing.
Not coming back for sure.

โ โ โ โ โ Bought 3 pcs of the Nonya dumplings. Upon unwrapping, notice that there was 2 layers of leave. The external is pandan leave which is correct for a Nonya dumplings for the fragrant while the internal leave was normal rice dumpling leave. I was surprised as the price of $3 couldn't justify such a usage. I would be expecting both layers were to be pandan leave.
The dumplings was fill with Ingredients and taste was normal.

โ โ โ โ โ I just found another dumpling stall which I like. Bought back to steam for breakfast. The saltyness is just right. The meat is not too hard but there is no mushroom inside. But still taste good. I am a bit surprise still got people eating this for dinner.?

โ โ โ โ โ Saw the perpetual long queue when we arrived at 1.30pm.
Didn't know it was famous until a stranger seated nearby told us. So we ordered chee cheong fun and porridge. And we now know this stall is famous for a very good reason. The food is really good.
It is located in the food centre below a multi-storey carpark near Chinatown Complex. Carpark is usually full during meal time.
