★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a wholesome lunch at the nearby hawker centre, stumbled upon this unique durian cafe. Knowing it’s speciality was durian, I just had to try their ice cream. Every bite was pleasantly generous with the taste of durian flesh, and a perfect balance of sweetness that didn’t make the ice cream overpowering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m really here just for n unplanned coffee stop while waiting for a friend. But decided to try their homemade Mao Shan Wang Waffle set. I’m no waffle connoisseur but it was nice crispy and fluffy. And the durian was rich and authentic (I actually only like my durian directly from the fruit). Plus a very friendly senior lady staff. Nice place to chill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice desserts with modernised items such as green bean with durian paste. I had affogato which impresses me with the espresso. Vanilla gelato could be a bigger scoop portion. Love the generous amount of carmelised biscuit crumbs. Will be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambience and the decor of the cafe is pretty nice, and for non-fans of durians, no worries, there isn't a strong smell of durians.
I had their waffle with Mao Shan Wang Ice Cream, and while the waffle is just about average (not a bad thing, there are better waffles, but it's not bad), the MSW ice cream is pretty good, even for a durian lover. The taste of the ice cream is on point (the only way it can get better is if you freeze MSW flesh and use that, so it's high praise indeed).
Price is OK, $11.80 for the waffles with MSW ice cream. They're linked to the Ah Seng Durian next door, so if this isn't enough for your durian craving, just head next door for fresh durians (I haven't tried them here so I can't say yet).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super yummy durian desserts and cakes. I didn't know that this cafe is just around my hood, so glad I came today. Bright and airy cafe to have a cup of coffee. I love the MSW sago, will come back again to try the other cakes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very aesthetically pleasing cafe in the middle of Bukit Merah neighbourhood. Very Instagram worthy!
They serve a lot of durian dessert which I’d love to try on my next visit there.
I had their Mao Shan Wang ice cream cone and it’s indeed very rich. It does get a bit too muak when I was trying to finish the ice cream.
The cone is really filled up with ice cream so there isn’t empty cones yeah!
The washroom is very clean and I’m really impressed by the design despite it being a quaint stall.

Desserts are wonderful and the taste is delicate and is in your face. Ice cream texture deserves special mention.
The star however was the cappuccino. One of the better ones I have had in a long time. Attention to details is what makes this place stand out.
