East Coast Podiatry (Kembangan)

I decided to see Dr. Michael Lai from East Coast Podiatry in Kembangan when I injured my big toe, as a result of an ingrown toenail. Dr. Lai assessed my condition and suggested a quick procedure to treat my big toe. Following the procedure, I was given instructions for home care of the wound the following week, and had a couple of follow up check ups to ensure that the issue I was facing would be a recurring one. I am glad to say that my big toe has recovered and I received great support and customer service from the clinic.

I went to East Coast Podiatry (Kembangan) for ingrown toenail removal, after suffering from years of discomfort. Ms Ari Tria did a top notch job, and has been super attentive to me in the after care (which is really important, because I have Type 2 diabetes mellitus). She gave me clear instructions on how to clean my wounds and dress them. I feel 100% cared for. I'm really glad I went to them for my ingrown toenail procedure!

My right foot was injured due to a series of events starting with ankle abrasion from wearing a new pair of leather shoes and then further aggravated by playing badminton after laying off for almost 10 years. I tried to resolve the issue by seeking help from traditional western and Chinese doctors and there were temporary respites. However, the pain kept coming back and at the worse stage, I was literally limping around and could not exercise or even walk comfortably. I researched and found that podiatrist help might be more relevant and sent out a couple of messages to those podiatrists that had received good reviews. I was pleasantly surprised when I received really fast response from the staff at East Coast Podiatry and secured an appointment with Dr Michael Lai at Kembangan Plaza at short notice. The pain had become quite unbearable at this stage and I was glad the staff could find me an empty slot at a time that suited me. On arrival, I was greeted by professionally trained and friendly staff who assisted me with the usual registration procedures. They strictly observed Covid guidelines which gave me a further sense of assurance. Dr Michael Lai was responsible for my journey to recovery and I highly recommend him as he is bilingual (English and Mandarin), very knowledgeable and patient in listening and understanding my issues before attempting to fix it. He gave me a detailed check and analysis before recommending me appropriate treatments. He was totally transparent about the costs of mandatory and optional treatments and never once pressured me to take on other courses or purchase accessories or equipment which he could have easily influenced me to. The clinic assistants were very proactive in following up and sending me reminders before my next appointments so that I would never miss a treatment session. They did so in a timely fashion throughout my 2 months with them. I have completed my treatment for now and will be seeing Dr Michael Lai in the future should I ever encounter foot problems again. Hopefully that will not be needed as I have been given advice on how to prevent injuries and tips on daily exercises to strengthen and stretch the ankle and surrounding muscles. I will highly recommend East Coast Podiatry if you or your family members are experiencing any pain or discomfort in your legs and your quality of life is not optimal because walking and exercising are affected from your leg problems. I had fungal infection on my toes & a surgery was performed to remove the toenail. I am pleased by the treatment offered at East Coast podiatry. I would like to thank Dr. Ryan Marshall for his service. He was particularly courteous & answered all my queries in a detailed manner.

I had an excellent experience with a successful treatment for my ingrown toe nail at East Coast podiatry centre (Kembangan). Dr. Ari Tria was so great in explaining the procedure, during the surgery and in weekly visits as well, and so was Dr. Millie. Great experience resolving issues relating to several broken toe nails arising from jumping rope. The team presented several options and discussed pros and cons of each treatment approach. Once I started the treatment, I was able to shift follow-on treatment sessions to a new location to better suit my schedule.
