For those new to Eatigo, I will share with you my gauge on ratings. Anything BELOW 4 means "cannot make it", I won't try at all. Anything between 4.0 to 4.4 are acceptable. Anything 4.5 and above are likely good. If any restaurant is rated 3.6 and below... I assure you you will have a terrible experience. I have been using Eatigo for years. ACTUALLY, many many websites out there filter out negative reviews... So consumers must really be discerning. My above gauge is usually what I use even for other websites, and so far it's been pretty accurate. I like Eatigo because it is totally free, and some times you can get really good deals. Do note that good restaurants won't stay on Eatigo for long. Because if they are already so good, they don't need the extra business. For example, there was a short period of time when one could even get restaurant deals from W Hotel at 50% off! Yeah, so if you come across a good deal, quickly grab it. Finally, regarding the promo codes and vouchers... So far I can say that they have mostly kept to their promise. In the past, they would mail capitamall vouchers to my doorstep as promised. Nowadays, they go by discount code. There was once they missed out sending mine so I sent them a message and they gave me the discount code. The latest app version is flawed because you can't book for future dates, and they have yet to fix it. Previously the main eatigo website was linked to Thailand, but they have fixed it. In short, yes there are many shortcomings, but... It's free lah. So, just enjoy whatever discounts you can get out of it.

They do not always coordinate the time slots and closing times with the restaurants in their app. I have gone to a buffet restaurant in Eatigo app that closed 15 mins after I was supposed to start having the buffet. I ended up paying so much just to only be able to eat an appetizer. Eatigo customer service refused to help and were very cold. No accountability. Also, negative reviews on restaurants are filtered out of their app. Hence, app users are only seeing positive reviews, leading them to believe that all dining experiences are good. This is clearly manipulation of consumers. Beware.

Totally agree with previous reviews to warn others not to trust what you read at eatigo because eatigo app only display the good reviews and you won't get to read the bad ones. I tried 2 restaurants at Eatigo, one was true to expectation (the Square) so I gave a good review and this was published the very next day. The other (Soi Thai Soi Good) was really disappointing. The reviews were raving good but the food we ordered were all below expectations. As such I gave a bad review for this. Eatigo acknowledged my submission but did not publish my review. There is serious trust issue here. The food reviews at Eatigo are not to be trusted as you only get to see the good ones.

No flexibility and error in discount reflected on their page. I booked a slot with 50% discount and it was changed to 30% at payment. Better yet, I was told that the reservation was not in the system and the poor waitress had to keep checking whether I had booked the slot. If you ever use eatigo (which I do not recommend- food sucks and customer service sucks) please take a screenshot of your bookings to make sure that you get the correct discount you booked for.

There's a risk that using eatigo discount will cost more if you hadn't use it, sounds unintuitive right? No, it has happened. Any in house promo dish will revert to menu price if you try to apply the eatigo discount which in this case it is less than in house promo. The restaurant will not let you opt out of the eatigo discount. When contacted, eatigo confirms this without reflecting how silly the policy is. Bad experience, use it at your own risk!

Fortunately, Google allows negative feedback to be displayed. BUT not eatigo. If you use their app, you will noticed that there are 5 rating levels by stars. However 3 stars and below, comments or feedback are not displayed. It is only displayed by stars but you can't read the comments. Go to any restaurant in the app to see it for yourself. I checked with them and their reason is that they want to promote the restaurant therefore it is not displayed. This is pure biasness! It seems they want to protect only the restaurants. Therefore, you may be mislead by the 5 or 4 stars and its comments that the restaurant has always high reviews. Ratings in stars or numbers does help but the comments are much more important. From the comments we can understand the concerns (whether we care or not) and make a judgment for ourselves if we want to patronise the restaurant. I do hope eatigo can change this policy.

Eatigo, I am incredibly disappointed with your spectacularly bad customer service. On 19 June, I requested an account closure, and your team reverted on 30 June to clarify. I confirmed the request, and was informed on 1 July my account has been closed. I still continued receiving spam emails from Eatigo subsequently. It was annoying, but I can handle annoying. What I cannot handle is a notification from Firefox security on 25 August telling me my personal details have been compromised in a data security breach associated with Eatigo. I have tried calling your office number listed on Google, and the line is dead. What is going on, Eatigo? I demand answers. I will be cross posting this on all social media platforms so people will be informed until I get a response from you directly.

No response from customer service.. Eatigo didnโ€™t inform the restaurant for take away orders and if the restaurant doesnโ€™t fulfil the order they do not take any responsibility or even revert back on the matter.. Most restaurants treat customers of eatigo reservations as freeloaders.. as if we are not paying them at all.. if there is a discount offered by the restaurant that means they want to attract customers and not that popular to get enough reservations to break even their expenses.. basically, it is total b***s**t to expect any kind of customer service from Eatigo or their listed restaurants! Highly disappointed with my latest experience..
