★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiter in photo was extremely rude. He showed us to a table at the corner which was not to our liking. We politely declined and express interest in another table but unfortunately none was available. Therefore, we decided to leave. The ordeal happened less than 1 minute. BUT he showed attitude and said “thank you for wasting my time” on the way out. This was unacceptable because it wasn’t like we hesitated and took a lot of time. Bad service as such will lead the business to nowhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and place to hang w friends. The food portion for platter was a bit underwhelming. The taco set also came in odd size of 2 or 3. The pulled pork cochinita was too wet and watery. The shrimp diabla was great. The chimichanga was great. But the fajitas is so so. The waiting time for food is quite long during peak hours. And be sure to make reservation in chope to avoid long queue to get in during festive season. Would recommend if u are into Mexican food. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had reserved the table from 7pm but were told that our 1hr+ dining duration will start from the time my friend,who had arrived early,arrived.
The small pot of Guacamole costs $8?! And the chips another $5?! Chips were oily and absolutely nothing like corn tortilla.
Server came with another bucket of chips and when we tried to clarify if the guac comes with complimentary chips-we never got an answer.
Our food was slow coming in and was cold. We had a mere 20 minutes to chuck down our food as we were rushed into leaving to clear the tables despite food being served slow.
Food and drink quality was poorly. Service staff weren't too memorable either. Menu isn't updated reflecting false prices.
Will not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a good time at El mero mero. We had the chicken and pulled pork tacos. Both were pretty good. The Buffalo chicken was a hit with my daughter and so were the nachos. The guacamole was good too but quantity was less for the price.
Along with that we had the la Paloma which was quite refreshing for the hot day but the mojito was underwhelming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely alfresco setting in CHIJMES. Food taste is ok. We order beef fajitas, jalapeño popper and seafood toastada. We enjoyed the jalapeño popper and toastada. Busy even on a Monday night.
Not sure why, but they served their margarita in a tin mug used for camping. Waiter did notify us how it will be served and we ordered regardless. Taste ok but the presentation didn’t quite work.
