Element14 Pte Ltd

Element14 used to be VERY good. Fast and responsive. I ordered a component on 27 Feb and it states there is stock for delivered in 4 to 5 working days. On 10 Mar, I found out my order is on "back order" and I called in. Sales hotline does not work. I had to call the technical hotline and ask to be transferred. The salesperson that picked up the call was TOTALLY unprofessional and uninterested to help. I told her my issue and she just went "OK" and then silent... I had to ask her "then?" before she asked me for order confirmation number. She checked and stock was only with Newark in US and Newark has not given ANY update. DO NOT ORDER FROM ELEMENT14 unless you are ready to wait infinitely...

TL;DR: Element14 is no long the place to order your MRO parts. They are not even a shadow of when they were based in Singapore. I'm not going order from Element14 again. This is what I went through. They have since offshored their customer service to a South Asian country. If you want a peace of mind with your orders, don't go to element14. Too bad Google reviews only allow for a minimum one-star review 1. Issue PO for 2 rolls of cable 2. Sales rep replied with confimation shipping address 3. Shipping address was not same as stated in PO 4. Emailed and called sales rep to tell them to correct the address 5. Courier company sends shipment notice and indicated wrong delivery address 6. Told courier they have the wrong address and inform them the correct address 7. Receives email stating order is RTS 8. RTS Email states courier attempted to deliver to the wrong address and then was marked undelivered with a contact number belonging to no one in my company. Both correct and wrong address belong to my company but no one turned up at both locations at the time stated on the tracking data 9. Call Element14 offshore call center and got informed that no complain email no count.

I think this company could be into some problems recently. My first experience with the Company was good a year ago. They are fast in delivery and the Sales even wrote to me to say I could contact him directly for better pricing when I have bigger volume. Did that exactly 1 year later. And now I'm in trouble. 2 Orders were automatically cancelled when nobody processed them. Currently experiencing an outstanding order that is already late by a month. When I call the help desk, they say they will expedite. After no further development, I wrote to them and got a reply they will investigate. When a week has passed with reply, I wrote a follow up email reminder. So far 2 days has passed still no reply. Please avoid this Company for the time being.......

Had an overall excellent service from them. Ordered 3 LED bulbs that were in UK on Monday. Had actually received them today, when the sales rep had stated the earliest delivery date was only next Mon/Tue. I did call them up first to check stocks and confirm they were able to fulfill my order.

Recently I placed a bulk order via my university. The delivery was smooth and immediate (approx 3 days). Overall good experience.

Please avoid buying from this company. Ordered Micro Bits from them early this year and they told me it will be delivered next year. Please do not tell your customers you can deliver stocks to them within 8-10 weeks. Please do not accept orders if you are unable to fulfil them

Worst place to purchase your electronic components. They will not process your order even it seems like they have accepted the order on their website. Also the online sales representative on the Singapore website gives wrong information and does not provide any actual help. The sales representatives in Taiwan are rude and barely have any patience to help out the customers. Please do AVOID to place any order to them. It is a total waste of time.

Just trying to contact the sales or customer service at 678802000, but there the line seems is a blank number; someone pick up but no talking. I then opt to chat online, its waste of time, the agent is very slow in responding. It's online shows next available stock coming on 17 May'22, but the agent said that this has been reserved for other order in queue. Then why still show in their system? The customer service team at Element14 that I used to worked with years ago was excellent, why let them go? So sad.
