Doctor Gerald Tan is without a doubt a capable doctor and handle patient with utmost professionalism that eases all your worry on the spot, although from my personal experience suggest treatments that are unnecessary for the conditions, implants with bone graft for overbite condition and 2 missing teeth, which seems to be the logical solution at the time. From the start i plan on getting third opinion and consultation just to be sure, end up seeing 4 dentists with varying dentist specialization all of them against for me doing implant with them and then refer to their associate orthodontist which strongly suggest dental braces to address both overbite and gaps from the missing teeth (traditional or Invisalign) to be the ideal solution and strongly against implant, as it will not address the overbite problem it simply replace the missing teeth with implant and once you did implant it is impossible to undergo dental braces to address the overbite later on. That was 2 years ago, and now my teeth are perfectly align without gaps from the 2 missing teeth and unneeded implants, just by using dental braces for 15 months. Again this is just my personal experience.

Had scaling and filling done today with Dr. Gerald Tan. This is my first dental visit in over 10 years (Last was during NS). The process was swift and painless. I got the gap between my teeth -- "diastema" is the term, I believe? – filled, and I must say I am overjoyed with the results. I can’t tell the where my teeth ends and where the filling starts ??? (See image below!) I had a great experience overall. The staff at Elite Dental are all very friendly and knowledgable, especially Dr. Nitya who is always approachable and ever-ready to impart dental knowledge to me. 5/5 Stars, highly recommended!

Dr. Shawna is a very friendly and professional dentist. She will explain the method and process of the treatment in detail to you and listen to you. She is also very friendly and you will be treated in a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere. She is also a very professional doctor with superb treatment skills and allows you to enjoy the entire treatment process comfortably. Very happy and fortunate to meet this good doctor.

I was attended to by Dr Shawna and her assistant Cindy. The assistant that took my X rays as well as counter staff were all friendly too. Really like elitez's standard procedure, having thorough dental examination with X rays taken etc. As a filling of mine had come off and I was feeling some sensitivity, Dr Shawna was flexible in shifting the dental consultation to a later time to attend to my filling first, which I appreciated. The filling was done nicely and was a smooth process, with local anaesthesia given to numb the sensitivity. I was kept at ease and felt that the team takes pride in providing good service and dental care. Looking forward to my dental consult and more visits with them for any dental needs!

After returning to Singapore, I was looking for a dental surgeon who could provide me a pragmatic solution to my two front teeth that have been traumatized in a sports accident. It was also important for me to have the surgery and molding of the implants done under one roof, and for one surgeon to track the progress and process. My dental implant journey took one year because I required a bone graft and a substantial amount of time for healing. For that one year - from consultation to surgery planning to the actual surgery to the day when I finally had my implants done to all follow-ups, Dr Gerald and his team (including the ladies at the front desk) really put me at ease and did everything they could to ensure that I had the utmost care. I had an amazing visit to Elite Dental Group! Dr Shawna has been taking care of my teeth for a little while.... I had a small cavity and you know it's much easier to take care of the problem when it is small. She had detected the problem early on, and I went into the chair...... Her touch with the dental instruments was wonderfully light..... no discomfort whatsoever..... and before I knew it, She was finishing up and just polishing the repair work. I was referred to visit Elite Dental Group after multiple intense morning headaches because of my bruxism. For sufferers of bruxism, the feeling of waking up to a frequent migraine can put a drastic halt to your day. After months of intense teeth grinding, I was beginning to feel the strain of daily aggressive grinding. As this was a personal referral, I had the privilege to have a consultation with Dr Gerald Tan who made time in his extremely packed schedule for my consultation. I have previously heard sterling reviews about Dr Gerald and his clinic, but the consultation was really quite different from a typical one. In fact, it is something you have to experience to understand. Dr Gerald Tan used a CAD scanner to scan my teeth to make a model. This was extremely non-invasive and fuss-free. As someone who has an inherent fear of the dentist or anything medical related, I am glad for tools and technologies used to reduce my overall dental anxiety. Elite Dental Group might be a boutique clinic tucked away at the corner of Orchard Building but they have a lot to offer. If you are looking for a clinic that cares more about you than the dollars of your treatment, Elite Dental Group would be right up there.
