Tried the dry version of wantan noodles. The noodles are thicker compared with those in hawker Center. Nothing really special or worth mentioning. Char Siew not really fantastic as well.

Ordered 3 packets of noodles takeaway and the staff kept insisting it’s 4 packets.
Tables were all left with food and unkept bowls although there was no one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't think engs needs a lot of introduction. This franchise is probably 70-80% of the original. Can't ask for more, franchise are hard to manage. This branch also sells wu xiang (fritters) which goes well with the noodles. Be warned, the lunch crowd can get crazy as it's a small space. Recommend to come before 1130 or perhaps after 130

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is great for one craving comfort food. Serving size was decent and the large size is really huge! Fried wanton is crispy and ngioh hiong taste good, just a bit on the salty side. Recommended for diners who wants a good comfort food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best wonton noodle around but they have their days, some days are quite average only. The noodle is springy, cha siew is good and not dry, the fried wonton is ok but not as good as the ‘famous pontian wanton noodle’. Each dish is around $4-5. Overall another good comfort food.
