Before attending classes at English Mastery, I was failing my English. However, for my o levels this year (2020), I got a b3. The teacher actively finds ways to make lessons engaging. Not only that, encouraging me and giving me constructive feedback for every marked assignment so that I could make improvements were what she did. Thematic vocabulary, class discussion and model essays were super helpful to me as well!

In English Mastery, there were useful notes and materials to help build a foundation for english vocabulary, through the use of phrases. This helped me in my composition, along with my tutor who helped me nurture my fluency for english and writing style.

Hi I'm Clairabel a N lvl student from Paya Lebar Methodist Girls School (Sec). I joined English Mastery at the beginning of 2019 (Sec 3) with a Grade 5 or U for my Sec 2 EOY. Now, I successfully attained a Grade 3 in English for my N lvls thanks to Ms Peh's help and guidance. It has really been a blessing to have such a patient teacher like Ms Peh who is willing to help me improve both in my writing and expanding my vocabulary bank. English Mastery provides a large amount of resources such as notes, vocabulary words/phrases and many exercises based on the topic/section they are covering. With this resources not only can you use it in writings to boost your marks up but you can also use it to communicate with your peers.

My English results has improved a lot after attending lessons at English Mastery. English Mastery provides many techniques and tips for tackling my weaknesses in English and the lessons at English Mastery are super enjoyable and intriguing which always makes me look forward to the next lesson. I would definitely recommend attending the lessons at English Mastery as it is very beneficial!

My son has been with English Mastery since June 2021. He has shown improvement in his English results with the help of the in-house worksheets and teacher's great patience and dedication. After joining English mastery, my grades were able to improve significantly. My first composition paper got a b4 however after attending the lessons and so, I was able to get a A1 for composition. My teacher is kind, encouraging and understanding, she showers my classmate and I with praises for even attending the lessons or submitting homework, Furthermore, she makes our lessons fun and interesting by showing us videos before lessons, keeping us updated on the news or just having some ice breakers so we get to know eat other better! Every week, i look forward to attending the class. The lessons and notes are extremely helpful, not only are the notes elaborative, they also have examples too, personally, it helps me understand the notes more. At the start of the lessons, she will share with us some good examples, it helps me to learn from others and see why they are able to score well. I also appreciate them not sharing the bad examples because at my previous tuition centre, showing bad examples really makes the students sad. I feel that English mastery not only wants to help us students improve in English, but to also make lessons fun and engaging so students will enjoy attending their lessons. I definitely recommend attending their lessons:D

My English grade improved after attending lessons at English Mastery. The lessons are engaging and interesting. The wide range of vocabulary words taught has helped me improve a lot. My teacher is very encouraging and caring and I really enjoy the lessons! She gives me constructive feedback that has helped me improve and I really appreciate all the hard work she has put in. English Mastery teaches me various techniques that has helped me in all components - especially composition, which is something I have been struggling with, and I am sure many others struggle with it too.
